Our Holy Father in heaven,
We come before You with sorrow for the people of Venezuela who have been affected by this terrible earthquake. So many lives have been changed in a single moment. Many families are waiting for news of their loved ones, and many people are still trapped beneath the fallen buildings.
Father, we ask for Your mercy. Please protect those who are still alive under the debris. Give them strength, hope, and endurance until help reaches them. Guide the hands of every rescue worker, give them wisdom, safety, and success as they search for those who are missing.
Please comfort every family that is grieving or waiting in uncertainty. Surround them with Your peace and with people who will care for them. Provide food, water, shelter, and medical care for everyone in need.
Lord Jesus, You showed compassion to those who suffered, healed the brokenhearted, and gave hope to those in despair. We ask that Your compassion be poured out upon the people of Venezuela during this time of great need.
May hearts be moved to help, may nations come together in kindness, and may Your mercy be seen even in the middle of this tragedy.
