Hello brothers and Sisters. I would like to start here a prayer moviment, focusing on Nations. I'll start putting the name of a Nation, with some specific list of prayers I would like us to be praying about regarding the nation. So, anyone can pray about the things on the list and then if they want, they can pray about other things about this nation. I'm gonna put one nation per week, focusing on those highly persecuted ones. Let's start with North Korea:
First, some facts:
Groups of concerned people, some of them Christians, have sent balloons with messages of hope into the air near the border between South Korea and North Korea. The prevailing winds send these balloons into North Korea, and people are able to get a gospel message.
North Korea is facing mass starvation as a result of its mismanaged Communist economy. All religions are banned in North Korea, and thousands of believers have been imprisoned for their faith.
Prayer list:
Pray that despite what they have been taught, North Koreans today will see His glory in nature all around them and respond by giving Him praise.
Pray for the end of famine and oppression in North Korea. Ask God to protect the people who risk their lives each day to share the love of God with the people of North Korea. Pray that God would open North Korean hearts to the message of salvation. Ask the Lord to end the persecution of Christians in that country. Pray for those on the concentration camps, for the christians who gather in caves to worship God. Pray for the end of the dictatorship.
* Pray that laws in North Korea that restrict the preaching of the Gospel will be changed.
* Ask God to create an openness to Christianity within the hearts of the Korean.
* Pray that the doors of North Korea will soon be open to Christian missionaries.
* Pray that God will send His Spirit to convict the Korean of their need for the Savior.
* Ask the Lord to protect, strengthen, and encourage the small number of Koran Christians.
* Pray that God will give these believers opportunities to share the love of Jesus with their own people.
* Ask God to raise up strong local churches among the Korean of North Korea.
