Hi people.

My girlfriend broke up with me about 3 weeks ago. Many things happened during this 3 weeks. Well, mostly is I screwed things up and made things worst. I tried to depend on God, but I fell to my flesh. I'm so remorseful. And now, I don't really know if she still has feelings for me. It might have turned to hate. But I really love her, still do. I'm committed to her. But she's in a rebound relationship and my actions only pushed her further away. I feel so regretful now and blaming myself for being foolish.

Please pray for me, for us. I want to get back because I believe it's God's arrangement for us to meet and be together. It's a testimony. But I screwed things up. I know it's never too late for God to turn things around but I'm having doubts what if my actions made it so bad that there's no point of return. I feel so guilty now. Please pray for me and for my now ex-girlfriend, Ellys to forgive me, and to let the past go and heal from it. Also for God to restore our relationship, we might have to start from friends again, but that's good enough. I pray and hope for God to turn things around and renew our friendship and relationship.

Please God, help me, help us.
 
I am so so sorry that you are both going through this. I know what it feels like to make a really bad decision that haunts you. I pray that God brings restoration to both of you and to your relationship if it is Gods will. I ache for the heartache both of you feel.

I'm focusing and coming back to Jesus now. There's nothing that I can do and nothing I do on my own that will help my situation. I'm praying and hoping that Jesus will restore our relationship as I come back to Him and He will also draw near to Ellys and bring her back to Him.

You know what's great about God, beloved? He makes good plans for us, and when we let our sin get in the way of that and receive His forgiveness, He still goes forward with His good plans! :)
I think these verses speak to that:
Trust in the LORD with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NASB)


Sometimes we let sin take us off the "straight and narrow", and we step off God's path. But when we trust Him for Christ's righteousness and His forgiveness, and acknowledge Him, He makes our path straight again. ♥
I have asked the Lord for forgiveness in her heart toward you, and for a new start for you both. And for His good will to be fulfilled.
And I trust Him to always do what's best for you, dear heart. :)

Psychomom, God spoke to me through that same verse just today. Thank you so much for your prayer and encouragement. I'm grateful for all.

It's true that I drifted away from God and allowed immorality to creep into our blessed relationship. I confess and repent, and I know that God has forgiven me. So now I pray and ask for restoration and reconciliation, with God and with Ellys. Praying for a miracle here, truly, God is my only hope and solution. Only He can turn things around.
