In the Prayer forum i suggest along with the like button selecton to include a prayer or praying, amen or other worded communication of agreement in prayer without writting it in the reply box.

Could you set it up as a poll? Select: "A Praying for you" or "B" (leave blank). Of course, B would get no hits, but A would be a count of people praying.

Sure do. If it disappeared, I wouldn't make any posts requesting it's return. It's also much more trivial to click "like" than what confirming to a person that you are praying for them should be.

I think part of the reason for the like button is to allow larger number of users to acknowledge approval of various posts throughout a thread, and cutting back on posts just saying 'i like' when you have larger threads.
Majority of Prayer Request threads don't get very large compared to other forum areas, therefore its not as important to cut down on the number of minor threads. So its not really a valid comparison.

Thank you for your thoughts my thoughts are not like yours in exactation because sometimes i do and others i do not sense to write or pray as much or add any other that some already have prayed
the word majority is generalizing when i may feel and pray uniquely different than some one else and then i may not, this is a suggestion area thread this is a suggestion for varibility not generalzation and it does not hurt to put a like in to express a amen or i am heartfully praying or i agree option button

Actually i do the same when i am praying with some one person to person face to face heart to heart so i am asking to have that also available when i reading and feeling them to pray for them over the internet.

Yes, this is a suggestion thread, and yes, you are free to make any suggestions. But this is also an open forum, and i am just as free to comment on your suggestions. I saw what i thought to be a flaw in your suggestion so i pointed out what it was and why. You're free to feel differently, but doesn't mean i have no right to comment.

I did not make any direct or indirect statements that you could not their is no anamosity communicated, i made suggestions from my experience as you can reread and in those experiences they would help sometimes i read 40-50 so i reply at times what i feel from the holy spirit in depth others i would like to select amen or heartly agree as quickly as possible helps me i am limited person.
