This morning I went to a local Kmart store to buy a blanket because the sleeping bag I have when camping outside got ripped.
I’m homeless and live off the grid in Sydney. Anyways as I got some donation income for Christmas I used it to buy some breakfast and a blanket this morning. It’s a really hot day today so I go upstairs in McDonald’s to get some relief from their air-conditioning.
As I eat my meal and coffee a woman asks for my attention in helping her work out when she gets paid from the government on the pension for seniors.
So I make my way over there and help point her to the phone number so the right people can assist her and prepare to make my way back to my meal and coffee. She asks me to sit with her and chat for a bit and then starts to share all of her brokenness.
She is homeless with her bags and living on the street. Her daughter is on drugs she explains to a drug dealer and she is divorced from her ex-husband. She starts to break down in front of me.
So I do some homework and find out she used to go to the Salvation Army Church where they have programs to help people come off drugs and tell her to go back to the Church and contact her daughter and ask her daughter to visit the Church. I prayer for her and her daughter and for their salvation and for divine intervention into the whole situation.
God puts people at the right time at the right situations to be peoples hope and miracles.
Unless my relationship with Jesus was genuine would he off trusted me with that situation.
I’m not the normal homeless man she would normally meet
In my opinion God directed me to her and her to me so I could lead her back to him and his protection. Hopefully bringing good outcomes for her and he daughter!
There nothing like being ready and able to being an instrument used for the Gospel and God's loving kindness through Jesus Christ.
Ask God for opportunities to be someone’s blessing today and watch him use you for his glory and honour.
Thank You Jesus for all your loving kindness and opportunities to lead people to you. For you alone are worthy Lord. Please use me today and guide me. Help people draw closer to you lord.
Thank You Father. Your a good God!!
