Hi so basically i been struggling with really bad depression and sometimes i still get suicidal thoughts im confused why suicide is so common and it happens to so many sweet people who feel stuck ;/ i dont get it and i been having very bad spiritual problems i dont feel God is near i pray and i mean it everyday and i have faith but i honestly am not sure what i need to do but plz pray for me and we are about to move and i am about to start my life and get my license and start college i pray that goes well and i make the right decisions but i just been so upset and sad lately i feel so lost i dont know i just feel hopeless and i pray God will deliver me from my porn addiction and my other sins i do and my temptation and i pray that i can be a nicer person;/ i been having a bad atititude and acting wrong and i have bad anger issues i dont know how to help them either i wish i did but i dont know how to do it alone and i just have a few health problems too and i just want to feel good about myself i havent taken ccare of myself of seen myself clearly in the mirror for almost a year lol its kinda sad but i take care of myself i just cant look at myself because i always pick myself out and i just been feeling so weak i just am looking for answers and i pray that God can just elp me just to be a better person ;/ idk im sorry for making this petty i am just so confused and i got a lot more stuff going on and going on in my head but i just dont understand

I’m so sorry to hear about your struggles, friend. I appreciate your courage and willingness to share openly with us. Life can be stressful and overwhelming at times. Remember, putting an end to your life will never solve your problems. The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy; but Jesus came so that we may have life and have it to the full (John 10: 10). The devil has his own way of bringing people into destruction. But we can have the confident that we are more than conquerors in Christ and He is able to deliver us from all the destructive ways. I just said a prayer for you, asking the Lord to draw you closer to Himself and surround you with His comfort, strength and peace. Are you seeing a therapist/counselor? I’d suggest that you get help soon. Do you have a support group nearby where you can connect with people regularly? Remember that you can always come here for help and support. Write back anytime. Jesus has a plan and purpose for your life! even though you have found yourself heading down the wrong path with the choices you've made, just know right now at this very moment You can begin a new life in the Lord. Jesus promises to renew every area of your life. He desires to build strength of character within your spirit, and to give you wisdom, and grace to live each new day with victory. When those thoughts of suicide enter your mind, turn to Jesus & say "out loud"! Jesus I Trust YOU! I belong to You! I know you have a plan & purpose for my life! Strengthen me Lord! I am praying for you. Also I want to recommend that you contact a Christian counselor. Addictions and suicidal thoughts are a major sign that you have some unresolved issues that need attention. God does not want you go to "get by." He wants you to enjoy life with healthy thoughts, good self-care, and hope for your future. Here are some resources that I hope you will consider.
