Family in Christ,

Our pastors father-in-law fell 15 feet off a ladder.
He has brocken ribs, injured lung and fractured shull.
Please pray as God leads your heart.

He is a God fearing loving man, so I know Jesus is with him as he goes through this...

You made this man, and know him intimately.
You know just how to put everything back together.
Please do so, Lord God!
And while You do, please give peace and comfort to his family and loved ones.

LORD WE ASK THAT YOUR ANGELS ACCORDING TO THE 91 PSALM PROTECT THIS FAMILY. LET EVERY CURSE OF ACCIDENTS BE BROKEN, AND WE PROCLAIM PROTECTION AROUND THEM THIS DAY. SPEAKING RESTORATION AND HEALING TO THE BROKEN NESS OF THE BODY. FATHER GOD, THE ENEMY IS DEFEATED IN JESUS NAME. ( WHEN THE ENEMEY COMES IN LIKE A FLOOD THE LORD WILL PUT UP A STANDARD). just prayed for a complete healing sis, keep us up to date please i like healing testimonies of things that God did it put's joy in my life and yes sis you are still in my prayers too God will heal him
 
Father God, please bring comfort, healing and strength and may this in some way bring you glory as people watch your child in his moment to shine. Let the people see his heart and trust in you as you use this to bring people into his life that he would not have know but for this this. May good come out of this In Yeshua's holy name I pray amen.
 
I have an update:

He remains in a state of unconsciousness due mostly, but not entirely, to the injuries he sustained in the fall. He has had no pain medication nor any meds to induce coma since 5:00 this morning, but nurses said his pupils are still tiny indicating that meds are still in his system. The encouraging news is that he has moved all of his extremities and early in the day he gave Joel a "thumbs up" one time when asked. None of the doctors or nurses saw it, so they doubted him. But later, on two separate occasions, he was able to give a "thumbs up" and hold up two fingers when asked while nurses roused him with mildly painful stimuli (a knuckle rub to the sternum). It may not sound like much, but, neurologically speaking, those are positive and encouraging signs.

Thank you for letting us know about this. I am sorry to hear about the gentleman's accident and will be praying that our LORD brings him healing from the top of his head to the soles of his feet in the Divine Name of Jesus.

Praise God, Bill continues to improve!
Doctors have removed the ICP bolt that was monitoring his cranial pressure. They have also removed him from the ventilator and he is breathing on his own. He also responds to simple voice commands like "squeeze my hand" and nodded when nurses asked him if he wanted more pain meds.

Thank you praying, and please continue to do so!!

My pastors wife...

"Please continue to pray for my dad. Today was more difficult. He wasn't very responsive, especially with his left arm/hand. He has a fever that vacillates. I told him that when it subsided, I would petition the nurse for socks. I know how he hates having cold feet. With yesterday's progress they expected him to be able to eat/drink today, instead he has a feeding tube. I believe that his progress has only been due to fervent prayer. He also has an epidural to block the pain and is receiving antibiotics for ventilator-related pneumonia. Please continue praying for my dad's full recovery. I expect this to be an amazing testimony that will build faith. I have never wanted something more in my life. Thank you."

I am praying for this as I would for my own dad, who has gone Home.
Though that's not bad for him, I do still miss him, (selfish me)
and so I pray for Bill's daughter,
and that the Name of Jesus be lifted up! :)

She is a loving and giving person, she has had to deal with other lots in the family.
She is a mother of five adopted children...she has a huge loving heart.
 
Update for 11/13/12

Dad has been a bit more responsive today...not fully aware yet, but moving and attempting to talk more. He has also had the chest tube removed. Thank you so much for your prayers...Please continue to pray for his complete healing. We serve and amazingly BIG GOD with BIG PLANS for my daddy! Keep praying!!

I also read; he told her he loved her as she was leaving...It was her birthday...she said it was the best birthday ever!

I would like to make a small correction.
He did not fall from a ladder, it was more like a ledge.
And his head injury was more to his face...than back of Skull.
His brain injury seems to be a "shear" injury,
an injury to the brain often seen in car accidents after high-speed stops,
results from the brain bouncing violently against the wall of the skull.
