Last week I started the process to get into an EMT program which will pay for me to become an EMT (rather than the other way around) and then guarantees a job once I am certified. The first step was to take a test and pass with an 80%. I just got a phone call saying that I passed the test with an 89% and that they will be interviewing me in two weeks.

After the interview, they will be picking the top 15 people to be part of the class. I am not sure how many people I am competing with but I'm sure it is no more than 40.

Anyways, I'm really thanking Him right now for this awesome opportunity as this job will allow me to move back out of my parents' house. And I have been struggling to find a job that is interesting to me. I have been working as a server for a couple of months but only get 10-20 hours a week. This will be a full-time gig.

I just need to get through the interview!
 
Not sure how to edit a post so correction: The program will pay me to become an EMT. I will be getting paid minimum wage to take the class. They aren't just paying for the class, they are paying me to take the class lol
