So, I have just been having a lot of problems in my life. Neither of my parents are Christian, but they say that they are. I don't feel comfortable going into too much detail quite yet. I just need prayer that God will make it clear what I am to do. I have done a lot of stupid things, and I am still going through a lot. Thanks in advanced.

Kaitlynn, I have often wondered why people say they are a christian, then dont act like one. The answer I came up with is that ALL christians dont act like christians all the time. We are human, we were made to sin, and we DO sin on a daily basis. Some people believe that just because they believe in God or read the bible, that automatically makes them a christian. I think what makes us christian is trying to live a Christ-like life, living and talking and acting as Jesus did. We cant be perfect of course, for we were born imperfect for a reason. But we can strive to do our very best and make Jesus proud of us. :)

Lord, please be with Kaitlynn and her family. Help them to understand each other better. Help them to act more like you so they may become christians in every sense of the word. Help Kaitlynn know what she is meant to do, not only to help her parents but to honor you as well. In Jesus name, amen.
 
Lord, I pray SistersByHeart would testify to her parents about the love of Christ through her actions and words as the Holy Spirit leads her. I pray You would guide and govern her actions by love's compass. In Christ's Name, Amen.
