There is this unsaved girl that I have know for a while now (like six years), from church actually. She clearly isn't a Christian, she admits it, but God has given me a real heart for her (or maybe my flesh did). In any sense, it isn't sin just an admiration, a romantic one, but I am not seeking to get yoked with her (and I never think it is God's will that we yoke ourselves with an unbeliever). Have you ever felt like God has given you (romantic) feelings for an unbeliever, so that you may be more passionate or determined to see them saved? Or maybe you had a crush on someone that you knew wasn't really from God..but it made you want to get that person saved?? I find myself praying for a girl I like more then a girl I don't; I find myself praying for girls more then I do for guys..[I'm be transparent here!!]..I am aware that these prayers and desires stem from selfish desires..but I do genuinely want these people to be saved regardless of me being able to date them or not..liking them just makes me more motivated..Do you think my/our (if you've done the same) prayers our hindered because of this (James 4:3)..idk..I know I brought out alot of questions and thoughts, feel free to discuss with me.

That's interesting. My boyfriend loved and dated me before I was saved. I was open minded and asked him lots of questions and genuinely had an interest in Christianity.

My belief is that God brought my bf to me to show me Christ. I always believed in God, but that was about it. My bf was led to me by God and through him I was saved. I thank our Father for him every day.

I would keep praying for her. Do you talk to her? Are you friends? Is there a chance she could be interested in being saved just doesn't have the right person to help her really see Christ? Believe me, my actions were far from Christ-like before. People can change through Jesus.
