Everyday offers opportunities to “be in ministry.” Someone will always need a helping hand, but you won’t minister well if you don’t prepare yourself by spending time with God. People can tell when you have had intimate moments with God recently, and also when you haven’t.


The Lord anoints us to meet the needs of others, but if we are not being filled by Him, we will hinder the flow of His healing oil in our lives. Seek God early, before someone calls and needs your help.



Psalm 23:5-6 ~ (KJV)​
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.​
 
I MUCH AGREE WTH YOU BECKY THE MORE WE OPEN THE BIBLE THE MORE WE WILL BE READY FOR THE CALLING TO SERVE HELP AND BE A BLESSING IN SOMEONES LIFE ; IM GUILTY OF THAT BECKY I DONT SPEND ENOUGH TIME IN HIS WORD THIS HAS GIVEN ME THE ENCOURAGEMENT TO DO THAT OF MORE NOT LESS READING GODS WORD ; HOW AM I GOING TO BE HELP TO SOMEONE ELSE AND BE A LIVING BIBLE IF I DONT READ IT AMEN THIS IS A VERY INFORMAL WELL WRITTEN WORDS SOMETHING TO PONDER N THINK ABOUT GBU
 
yes we are spiritually prepared with both prayer and scripture reading daiily amen-eth amen....
