Prepare your beloved ones to meet Christ instead of regretting their death or blaming someone for it.

• “So that, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.” (1Co 15:58)

Today, April 7th, 2021 to 18:10, we had a terrible experience in the public hospital that I evangelize. A family, when knew about the death of one of their members (by COVID), made a great scandal: almost assault the social assistant, damaged the table of the reception, broke the lock of the door, etc. It was necessary to call a couple of police cars.

I know that it is terrible when we feel to be victim of injustice. Nevertheless, instead of overreacting, we ought to outdo the standards of the society (and even our own standard – see Habakkuk 3:19). Specially because we don’t know what people are going through.

Even when there is mischievousness, we need to keep focused on the Creator and His word (Heb 12:1,2), believing that everything spins around His throne (He is reigning, although all the world looks adrift – Hebrews 2:8; Rev 4a).

I hope that me, my family and all of you that are reading this message (as well as your beloved ones) can be protected from the plague that walks in darkness and of the destruction laying waste at noonday (Psa 91:6).

However, if, by any chance, it happens that some of them pass away, I leave with you this verse:

• “and the Living One, and I became dead, and behold, I am alive for ever and ever, Amen. And I have the keys of hell and of death.” (Rev 1:18).

That is to say, as Jesus has the keys of hell and of death, therefore nobody dies before their time. Thus, the death means that the person finished up the purpose for which Jesus prepared them.

So, instead of regretting the death of a relative or intimate friend, may us have reason to be happy and glorify Jesus for this. Maybe you ask: how?

Take a look:

• “And I heard a voice from Heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they shall rest from their labors, and their works follow them.” (Rev 14:13).

Hence the reason because:

• “Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of His saints.” (Psa 116:15)

So, may we have a splendid day, having the same certain and expectance than Paul:

• “according to my earnest expectation and hope that I shall be ashamed in nothing, but as always now Christ shall be magnified in my body with all boldness, whether it is by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Php 1:20,21).

• “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith. Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing.” (2Ti 4:7,8).
