President Obama Approval Ratings Sink Among Young Voters

I have been wondering something for quite some time. Anyone can answer, but I was hoping to hear from Obama's supporters. What do you consider President Obama's primary accomplishment(s)? Just to clarify:

  • I'm not setting a trap or preparing to jump on you with a bunch of follow-up questions, I genuinely want to know.
  • I am looking for something specific, such as "The Affordable Care Act", as opposed to "he turned the economy around".
  • I'm wondering in terms of the accomplishments that please you the most, instead of ones that were the most famous.

Thank you in advance for replying.

Spoken to a few youth ex BO supporters who are swinging over to Libertarian.

Economic collapses have always seen an upsurge in extreme far right. It was the reason for the Nazis rise to power in WW2. Part of that was the Great Depression.

Europe is seeing it now, like with that Pagan, Golden Dawn in Greece.

Libertarianism is a truly extreme anti-Christian philosophy.

I know a lot of Satanists identify as Libertarian. The guy who started the Satanic Church was Libertarian.

When you are forced to buy an inflated insurance by the government, a HUGE departure from everything american up to this point, even the minds filled with mush youth will rebel against that.

Maybe they read some internet news that wasn't bias'ed and read about the true stories of Benghazi, the IRS scandal and the numerous other scandals of this administration.

Maybe they got a job and moved out and found out what real life is. Maybe they graduated college and found in this ''great recovery'' there was still no jobs.

Maybe some of them grew up.

By the way Tyranny is never conservative. Big government power is totally a liberal concept.

Libertarianism is essentially conservatism without Christ, yep.

Well there is no rush to claim ownership of Obamas great accomplishments. Go figure.

He is going to do for all of us what the government is doing for the VA in their health care. Going to be a complete mess.

For the cause of Christ
Roger

Obama's accomplishments:

1. Propagate sweeping sexual immorality even onto children as young as the first grade. Neglect families.
2. Greatly increase illegal immigration in the worst U.S. domestic labor market since the Great Depression.
3. Offshore more U.S. jobs, capital investment, and invention/innovation to foreign countries while simultaneously displacing American workers through the importation of foreign labor. Greatly increase the U.S. trade imbalance.
4. Improve his own financial portfolio to multi millionaire status while enjoying junkets at the taxpayer's expense.
5. Push totalitarianism through backing SOPA/PIPA, etc... and when those failed due to voter uprising default to pushing the TPP to accomplish the same thing.
6. Increase government sprawl, welfare, and double the national debt in the process.
7. Push monopoly capitalism and destroy the middle class.
8. Undermine the Constitution. Undermine the Bill of Rights. Paint moral Christians as "domestic terrorists." Importing as many Muslim terrorists from war torn countries as possible while ensuring Syrian Christians don't get to come here.

I'm just getting started. It's a rather long list of Obama's "accomplishments."

I'll bet his handicap has come down significantly in his 1 1/2 terms in office.

The Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis released the April trade figures this morning. The news is bad.

The trade deficit measures how much more we buy from other countries than they buy from us. It is a way to measure loss of jobs, loss of factories, loss of expertise, loss of supply chains, loss of money and loss of national opportunity.

Imagine American factories and other businesses receiving an additional $44.2 billion in orders last month, and every single month, and you can visualize the effect of this trade deficit. How many people would be hired due to an additional $44.2 billion in orders? How many suppliers would get a boost in orders? How many local businesses surrounding these thriving factories would be getting extra business? That is a measure of how many people are not working and how much economic damage is being done because of the trade deficit. Think about the effect of that, repeated every single month, and you are seeing the effect of the trade deficit.

Obama's best thinking was to push for a U.S.-Korea free trade agreement which he sold to Congress in 2011 (yes they ignorantly approved it making them guilty too). This was going to boost our economy and “create jobs” they told us dumb voters.

The result: The U.S. goods deficit with South Korea reached a new record in April, having gone up for the second straight month, to $2.3 billion, from $1.3 billion in March.

On top of that, South Korea is exporting “oil country tubular goods (OCTG)” – pipes and tubes used for petroleum production – to America at prices that appear to be below cost and in ways that appear designed to circumvent international trade laws. Korea doesn’t use these products so their production is entirely about weakening the American steel industry. (See Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: “U.S. Steel closes two tubular plants indefinitely, including one in McKeesport.”)

A report from the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) and the Law Offices of Stewart and Stewart, titled “Surging Steel Imports Put Up To Half a Million U.S. Jobs at Risk,” finds that half a million jobs are at risk because of these surging steel imports.

The April U.S. goods deficit with China jumped almost a third, to $27.3 billion, from $20.4 billion in March. We also had a $14 billion trade deficit with the European Union and a $7 billion trade gap with Germany, the highest on record.

What's Obama doing? Why pushing for more "free" trade through secret treaty instruments. That's as transparent as it's going to get Americans. You get to see the transparent results of your own deterioration from what they do in secret behind your back.

Enormous, Humongous Trade Deficit Up In April

Guess it means President Obama won't be winning the election in 2016 lol.

2 reasons.

Obamacare is not free, and youth are paying for grandmas insurance.

Obamas NSA is spying on them.

I am not a Obama supporter by any means. I have not been happy with anything he has done in office. I do want to point out though one thing that every one seems to forget...Obamacare that is blamed solely on Obama is the wrong way to go about that. What people forget is that when Obama first took office he pushed for a 100% government funded health care system that would have eliminated medical bills and medicine costs. It was turned down and constantly vetoed because it would put restrictions on private doctors so that they could not charge higher prices for the same services provided by standard doctors.
Those private doctors funded the fight against it, even though most of the top medical programs around the world are totally government funded.

He then made adjustments and adjustments to it until it finally got passed and is what we know as Obamacare today.

The main thing that gets me also is that how the current president at the time when a debate gets going is always blamed for everything that is wrong even if he is not the one to blame for it.

Example: When Obama first took office we were already in an economic crisis do to Bush Jr., but Obama got blamed for it all.
Obama just has made things worse so far, oh but then again I guess everybody forgot how he mentioned that too. He said there is no easy fix to our economy, and things would get worse before they got better.

Tidbit for you....Romney, McCain, Perot, Clinton, and a lot of others all said this as well.

My position is that we need untainted food, clean water, breathable air, and medical care for all Americans.

But Obamacare is a poor way to do that imo because it costs too much money for everyone that has to pay for it; drives up the national debt; and creates a federal overreach problem (that is not resolved through single-payer).

And liberals don't really understand how expensive single-payer health care would be in the U.S.. As a Bloomberg study found: "Single-payer would have to be paid for at the extremely high prices that Americans pay, not the lower European prices that we’d rather have. And when you look at the taxes needed to finance a government takeover, you quickly realize that most people just aren’t willing to pay the price."

So what happens when the national debt soars past $40 trillion paying for all this welfare while simultaneously people's premiums continue to soar?

Unless, you do a tiered system by income with a private option single-payer won't last in the economic environment that follows this one. The reason why the tiered system would work is because the poorer among us (about half the population) would get adequate health care but certainly not the most expensive kind they receive under Obamacare.

Our hospitals would be less expensive, we wouldn't have access to the latest and most expensive technology (all paid for by borrowing from the Chinese), our drugs would be generic with the most expensive out of our tier, etc...

This approach would cut the cost of medical care for half the U.S. population to about half of what it is now and control costs long term for the future while maintaining access to the best medical care for the middle class and wealthy who could spend the money for a higher tier benefit.

Of course, you can always improve your own health care in this system by finding a way to climb out of poverty. Maybe this would help strip away the ignorance from the vast bulk of the voting public and they work to reform trade, monopoly capitalism, the financial sector, etc... and create a situation where more of them were increasing their net worth than watching it decrease as is presently occurring.

But liberal socialists would never allow it. They will only allow an option that drives up the national debt to the point of systemic economic failure while burdening the middle class. Then everyone has a BIG problem. I suppose only from the ashes, can progress be realized due to both neo-cons and "progressives"... lol.

Ironic.

It doesn't really matter though. The electoral college is who truly decides the next winner. Ours don't count really. Did you all not listen in on your politics classes? ;)
