Persecuted, sorry to break it to you, but he is totally the phone addict. lol He has an iphone 4 and is on it a good majority of the time. He doesn't want his own kids and that's something we agree on. And I don't think he likes cheerleaders. He's the kind that would say, "Go put some clothes on."

Yeah, she's "technically" right... I take offence to the "phone addict" part though!
 
I don't see the problem here what is wrong with flirting? You're not doing anything wrong and neither is the person flirting with you. I think you should stop worrying about this and focus on any other real problems you may have.

So am I to believe you are the one jaydawg is already with? Lucky you showed up when you did with me being the bad influence that I am. lol. Phone addict? No wonder why all the women are after him.

Remember, these techniques don't require true stories, they are just intended to ward women off if that's your desire.

I agree. But each to their own. If someone doesn't want to then so be it. Good to be able to put all of my past mistakes to useful use for someone else.

I really dislike this... because I think that many of the guys who would pay attention to this are the kind that you want seeking you. If I see a girl who seems nice but has - I'll say hi & that but I won't be pursuing anything obviously. (This may involve different questions to what I'd normally ask)

People who you want to be discouraging will just go ahead anyway often...

I don't mind engaging in conversation. It's outright flirting that I don't like and try to avoid. And you're right, it doesn't always work.
 
You poor, unfortunate attractive people. Life is hard huh?

There is one thing I've seen overlooked here, unless it was in one of the longer posts that I was being too lazy to read. People tend to want what they can't have.
So making it clear that you're not interested will only make some people want you more. Why is that? I have no idea. People are crazy. That's my best answer.
Who has heard of "playing hard to get"? I think most have. There is some truth to it. Although, I don't agree with it. It's a silly head game and I don't put up with those personally. However, we should all as God's children value ourselves enough to be genuinely hard to get...not just pretending and playing a game.

So what is the solution? You could lock yourself in your house and never leave...or just simply say 'bye" and walk away when someone is flirting with you... Of course that would just make some want you more.
Darned if you do, darned if you don't.

There are much worse "problems" to have.

Exactly. Its probably ironic that I'm trying to help someone stop flirting when I already spend too much time talking to women and am looking for ways to start more conversations and make things go further. But then I'm single, single so what else could be expected of me?
 
I must be hard to flirt with too cus I use the word 'disposition' sometimes. I'll even use 'cumbersome' on occasion.
