is there a way to clean up my private conversations in the little envelope icon? There are to many in there for me to keep track of and many are no longer needed.

At the top of each conversation is a button marked "leave". Click on that, choose the appropriate action, and click "go".. To delete all convos, check off the boxes next to them..
