both can be edited in your profile
Go to Forum Actions in the blue menu and select edit profile

Click the logo in the top left o this page and it will take you to the main page.
From there you will see a line of blue words.
one says Avatar. Clicking that allows you to change the picture that shows in chat and the forums.
Lot you can click Profile and it takes you to where yo can change the picture shown on your personal profile.

Are you on a phone or computer? If you're on a phone or other device, go full screen, and you will see the Settings tab at the top of the forums page. Click it, then click on "edit avatar" in the list on the left. Upload a picture, then click "save changes" afterward..

Scroll to the bottom of the page, click 'Full site' or something along those lines. Then look at post #3 and follow instructions from there.
