Ilan-Tor stood, gazing into the dark chasm in front of him with an exresionless face. The only light in the chamber seemed to come from his red, gleaming eyes. He could smell a musky oder emitating from the chasm. It was hot, but he didnt notice. His ash-grey skin glistened with sweat from the humid room
Next to him, standing with a god-like silence was Eena. She stared into the chasm, a look of profound fear on her usally stern face.
"Why are we hear, Ilan?" She asked, looking at her partner.
"You know why Eena."He looked at her."You heared it too."
"Yes but i refused to believe it."She replied angryly.
"Why denie the truth?"Ilan turned his gaze back to the chasm. "Besides, noone can denie a god..."
"But is it worth it?"A mist began to rise out of the chasm, like a cloud.
"Of course. He will give us unimaginable power."
Eena did not respond. she knew it was useless; Ilan-Tor had a silver tongue. Arguing got her no where.
"How long will it take?" She asked.
"Oh it will be a while." Ilan looked at her with his red eyes."And it will take betrayel, and death." He turned his head back tonthe chasm
