I think Barack Obama is a dirty nigger - islamic dog who supported islamic terrorists in Syria who kill many christians and muslims in the name of fake "democracy". In the New Testament, Jesus talks about love between people of the spiritual love we have in our heart.
We Arabs are proud and brave people. When we are done against injustice or niugnetyavat we are forced to grab the gun no matter whether we are Muslims or Christians - we think as one.

I've seen you post elsewhere about being totally ok with homosexuality. I could post several verses that says it isn't ok. So for the sake argument, if you are a christian and you believe Gods word, can you post a scripture that says God approves of homosexuality.

You simply cannot call any human being what you have, i am sickened. It is totally unacceptable. Whatever you are trying to say is now lost in hatred and bigotry. It saddens me you have such an 'icon' of Jesus as your picture...in no way do your words reflect his teachings. You are angry, that is your response but please, reflect on your use of words. They are offensive and unnecessary. God Bless you. <><

I think people have forgotten that homosexuality used to be considered as a mental illness. Mainstream psychologists no longer accept this theory.
If homosexuality is no longer a mental illness according to psychologists then how long will it be before pedophelia is no longer an illness as well?

Are they suffering though? That is a question that I don't think either of us could answer truthfully. They are living life they want to. I hardly call that suffering.

I think this is a common misconception in these threads. No one is saying that God or the Bible says homosexuality is ok. However some of us apparently recognize not everyone is Christian so if random people want to live a homosexual lifestyle well then that is their choice. I support homosexuality because its just how two consenting adults want to live. Im not saying its acceptable in christianity, but then who is to say those people are christian?

The Bible says homosexuality is wrong: True
Being a christian is a choice: True
Christians follow the Bible: True
Not everyone is a christian: True
Not everyone should be forced to live by christian standards: True
 
it is never wrong to love anyone. it is always right. but we just cant reasonably have sex with everyone we love. i love my family. i love my friends. intensely. but having sex with them is simply not an option. king david declared his love for his beat friend jonathan as superior to the love of a large amount of women yet he was heterosexual. if the person you love most in this world happens to be the same gender all good and well but it isnt the basis for a sexual relationship. even if i werent a christian it is clear to me that homosexuality is an anti-survival of the species behavior. that alone is among the best reasons not to indulge in it. people see it as such at a very instinctual level and it is much of the reason that many cant explain thier opposition to it well. the bottom line for a christian is to trust and obey. you will understand it all by and by.
 
you realize homosexuality is actually rather common in nature thus negating the whole anti-survival of the species? The species will get along just fine without homosexuals actually reproducing, we still have plenty of heterosexuals for that. Also David's love for Jonathan probably wasn't a romantic/sexual love. Like I love my best friend, but its a completely different type of love than the one i have for women.

Just exchanging scripture in this discussion wouldn't be enough. Since verses rarely have an unmistable, fixed meaning much hinges on the interpretation of those verses, a proces that already starts with the translation of the original text. That is important to know if you have to rely on translations to form an opion. Knowledge about the context in which the original text was written -the political situation and the religious customs for instance- is also important. What you would be posting isn't as much scripture, but more a certain interpretation of scripture. Ofcourse, the same would be true for me. Ultimately we both stand for what we think is right.

'Totally ok' is a bit of an exaggeration. Personally I always feel a bit uncomfortable discussing this subject.

Survival is not the issue. Nature does not have an inner sense of who God is and what is His plan. We do; that holds us to a standard consistent with that knowledge.

The Bible does not say "homosexuality is a sin because you can't make babies that way", it says practicing homosexuals cannot enter the Kingdom of God. Very different reason for not doing it.

Eating one's own offsring is common in nature too. Should we eat our own children because animals do? Or are we better than that?

You realize most of these homosexuals dont care right? Like they arent christians and therefore arent concerned about heaven? Theyve heard about jesus im sure especially if we focus on just america, yet rebuffed it. just let them do their thing.

Some people actually do believe eating the placenta is healthy. However eating your child harms someone who isnt you. Consensual sex between two adults doesnt.

I take it you forgot what it was like to be a teenager. Or, maybe your still in that mindset of a teenager so it still seems right to you ( I don't know)? But there's many types of suffering. Some might feel their suffering cause they are not able to have the gift to gab where they don't have many friends. So now they call them self Christians, being that Christian are more patient and more excepting. Peer Pressure, You remember Peer Pressure, don't you? The bible speaks about self control, Something i never practice due to Peer Pressure. And most don't suffer, cause it was easier to give into peer pressure. Some even giving in to peer pressure despite doing what's right.

Why are liberals always to blame you know most of the people having pre marriage intercourse, and teen pregnancies, and just doing the opposite of what the bible say are mostly from red states right?
 
that is a good point...conservative states do tend to have higher teen pregnancy rates. I wonder if that is due to a tendency to treat sex as taboo rather than an open conversation topic?
