Christians under fire
I agree. I was not impressed with the website posted either.Ok, I read the Christians under fire. Good read, but I don't really see any proof or evidence there. Certainly nothing scientific, as when most people ask for "proof" they want something with some science to it.
Maybe sometime we can have a chat about that. But for me, the bible doesn't stand against alot of critical thinking.
We have all the evidence you'll ever need, right here in South Africa.
When you come to South Africa...visit the Kruger National Park.
Once inside look around you...
Keep looking...
Keep driving and looking ...
You'll see some outstanding proof. Once you have done that you can drive to one of the coastal cities.
Go walk on the beach. And look at the sea. I mean like really look at it. Look at the strength of a singular waves as it pushed the kids and men and woman playing in it. As the surfers respecting the very waves they surf.
Oh, you probably need a plane flight on the way to South Africa...please make sure you come during the day.
Cause you would be flying above the cloads. Make sure you have a window seat...otherwise you'll miss it.
Make sure you fly over Africa and the various water resources and the Millions of animal species designed by God.
Next go and look at the complexities of ONE human cell underneath a microscope. In full detail.
After which do yourself a favour and go on Youtube and just scroll through tornadoes and hurricanes.
Go and look at the stars how beautiful they are formed, and just for a second think that what if we were not the only life giving planet in the entire cosmos...wouldn't there be as much detail on species of that planet. Especially if there is so much detail in the star systems of the universe alone.
Now do you still wonder if there is a God... Who is in charge of all these things? To whom does the hurricane answer to? To who does the waves answer to? To who does the volcano's answer to? To who does the ventilation of the earth answer to? Since if it was out my one degree we would either freeze or burn.
Now, do you work at a place with a lot of people. More than 40 should do. Do all of them do what must be done to the finest degree without a supervisor or do some of them require a supervisor?
Now what do you think would happen if something as simple as a solar flare went unchecked?
Many asteroids have struck earth and yet none big enough...curious. Yet if you watch the earth through the hubble telescope you might become scared.
Still think everything in the cosmos is unchecked. Just random.
So if you can't see the proof of God. You're not looking.

I like William Lane Craig, I think the Kalam Cosmological, Leibniz Cosmological, the Moral Argument, and the Teleological type arguments are rather good. I think Kalam and the Moral are the best though. From a transcendental level, I think dealing with the Laws of Logic, Objective Morality, and knowledge are good ones. I really like the Laws of Logic for transcendental arguments though. Turns the tables.Check out William Lane Craig's 5 arguments for the existence of God; they're quite compelling. Or if you'd like to get a more "old school" perspective, you could check out the proofs for God in St. Thomas Aquinas' Summa Theologica.
