The point I think he failed to see is that the Quran does tell its members to kill the unbelieving. The gospel teaches us to love our enemies. These are what the books teach. Any Christian who kills another is not following the gospel. Any Muslim who kills another IS following the Quran.

We read the bible and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe what the bible says because the Holy Spirit that the Lord has given us has shown us what they mean. We start to see how all things lead us to the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We see how we have been changed, from the inside out.
Without the bible we would be lost. It truly is the Word of God.

If no man can come unto the Son unless they are drawn of the Father, then there is evidence of being drawn to the Son that never existed in the heart of the unbeliever. The unbeliever is being drawn away from the things that they trusted in and that they identified with that gave them an identity as a person in this present world.
