Calling someone a false prophet is not speaking the truth in love, especially in this setting.

Rebuke is never easy look at these texts
Matthew 3:7-8
(7) But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
(8) Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:
Matthew 23:33
(33) Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
These are very strong words what if someone were to use these words on CC referring to people? How do you think people would react?

Jesus rebuking those against the good news. So many pull out this scripture to justify themselves, Jesus could judge righteously, He knows what dwells in a mans heart. I know it says rebuke in the epistles too, but I feel it's directed to those who deny the cross and try and justify themselves in their living life not according to Gods righteousness. One thing we know and it is true, if it's not from God it will be exposed eventually, and when it is to admonish them with love to repent, meantime love and patience bares the fruit of His righteousness.
Sure, we can disagree, even if someone disagrees with this post, that's ok, really no problem.
Many a people ridiculed threatened and taunted Jesus, how many times did He rebuke them?? If ever thete was a time to would have been on the cross they nailed Him to. He went for the vipers who turned Gods perfect law into something it was never meant to be.

when someone is teaching a false doctrine, suh as contridicting the bible, and lying then i refuse to listen to them.
i am not going to agree with them and praise them. we are wwarned of false prophetx and the bible tells us to keep a watchful eye.
If a christian knows for a fact that a "prophet" is not teaching the word of god then i will rebuke it in hope of others not come to follow him.
That how we end up with these crazy cults where they end up commiting suicide while wearing new nike tennis shoes and purple shrouds

I found to judge is to be left opened to be judged by the same measure to be true. Look if people go and swallow everything being told them I only think of those who said to Moses, you go up the mountain whatever He says we will do that you tell us. There lies the problem, not going to Him, not going up the mountain, church's primary function is build faith in the cross and what it means, what God says, to them. Too many just think the sermon given says it all.
I read a while back 50% of Pentecostals leave out the back door, I'd say that's because after being encouraged to read Gods word regularly and spending time with God which they advocate, people see things differently to what's being served on Sunday's.. Others just never bother spending time with God, believe everything said to them and when it doesn't happen leave feeling cheated, but they said they said.
Do I agree with every doctrine, we can punch holes in any church doctrine, the early church didn't have a bible and still the doctrine preached was the good news, living a Godly life and trusting God, being exhorted always to becareful yes, but to revel in His goodness and righteousness.

It's not a question of ignoring a deception if there is one, the quoted statement above says it all for me personally. With all due respect I'd rather focus on building up with love than tearing down with words, God has the absolute truth and will reveal it in His time, we may think we know but knowing exactly is a different thing. I can't comment on someone when I don't even know what it is that brought the accusation, I can only be guided to love and trust God that He has everything in His hand.
I was reading yesterday where the devil contended with Angel Michael over the body of Moses, didn't bring a railing accusation against even the devil, just replies "the Lord rebukes you" end of discussion, gotta love it, how simple is that and he only says it once.

The Apostle Paul was slandered maybe more than anyone ever.And he had more power and office than anyone since the church started how did he act when those around him did not put their trust in him.......he called them Nobel for the fact they did not just sit their and eat every word he gave

I was just thinking about what you said. Just realized some are like Paul, some are like Peter, and then theres John. I encourage new Christians to start with John, love, his epistles love, maybe I'm just a John kinda guy. Then again iv been forgiven for alot of bad things maybe that's why I love alot. We are all wretches saved by grace. I'm blessed to be a blessing, blessed by grace to be giving grace, I don't unclefester, but like you I'm going to pray more on it. I'm being challenged by a few really good people of late with love and I really keep my heart open for correction, ultimately that comes from the Lord but thru His children comes a prompting to examine myself with Him searching my heart. All part of santification.
I see people bold with things I see they shouldn't be bold about and others being bold with what they should but when I don't see love I don't see much, ok time to go back on my knees now. Lord have mercy

Not many like to clean the toilets. For some reason I just dont mind. I dont get mean or
hateful or unloving. It just needs cleaniin. Thats how it is.
Same with babies and kids alot of dirty work, but it can be a labor of love, and you can
love it. Ya also have to patch the roof and mend the fence. If any part isnt maintained
it cost you the destruction it brings.
Now if you dont get everyone to do their fair share and the few cant keep up
then your gona get behind and things are gona go into shambles. And
varmints are gona come in. And run the place. If ya let em.

why do you always say we should be afraid when Jesus tells us that HE gave us a spirit of Power Love and a Sound Mind, NOT FEAR?
if you are afraid then something is wrong, you have sinned and God is telling you that you need to search your soul and repent to regain the peace and love of Christ.
I try to NEVER speak in fear for fear is a warning sign that Satan is nearby. what would they be tempted by VW?

Again, you show your lack of the knowledge of scripture. Maybe you need to listen to the Spirit more often.
I used the word fear as reverent respect and looking to oneself, knowing that pride tempts us all.
But fear is good, not bad as you claim. For we must work out our own salvation in fear and trembling. And we are approaching the living God, who is holy and pure and true.
Whenever I hear one calling another false, I know that they have no fear, and this makes them false, because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
If you are called to speak a word to one deceived, who is mislead or confused or just plain wrong, then that word is to be spoken in the spirit of gentleness, not in rebuke. If you believe someone to be under the influence of a demon, then rebuke the demon.
It seems that the words of Jesus are coming to pass, and our own worst enemies are the members of our own household, and those who put us to death think that they are doing service to God.
If one is filled with the Holy Spirit, then this is not possible, that they be overcome by demons and false spirits. The much greater danger is the religious spirit that resides in so many hearts of those claiming Christ. This spirit blinds people to their faults, and refuses to let them approach God to be illuminated by His light. That is the real danger for those who have heard Jesus.

"the religious spirit" would be a demon of legalism and if the person has it then they are not filled with the Holy Spirit and that is the point.
Read again the case study of King Saul who HAD the Holy Spirit but then was given a troubling spirit in it place....
you twist your words you did not use "fear" in the context described above but in rebuking or reproving someone who has strayed. God tells us not to fear people and to speak boldly HIS words. then you have the pride to say it is MY lack of knowledge that YOUR words do not convey what you "intend" for them to the first time you made the statement.
we were not talking about FEAR of GOD we were talking about FEAR when speaking or correcting a person.

I don't believe it is wrong to warn people about false prophets. I don't consider myself a false prophet or someone playing games. Prophecy is from the Holy Spirit like speaking in tongues and tongues with interpretation. It's not me who is speaking but the Holy Spirit. I believe it is just as important to warn people not to evil speak true prophecy as it is to warn of false prophecy. If you evil speak good prophecy, you are accountable to God.
