I have learned that spending time with God is a vital necessity in my life. I cannot do what I am called to do if I don’t seek the presence of God every day. If I don’t have time for God first, nothing else in my life works out.

God isn’t happy with second place or third place in our lives.

When we are desperate enough, we find time to seek God. We turn the telephone off, we say no to our friends, and we turn our face away from all distractions and seek Him. That is when we get our breakthrough.


Matthew 6:33 ~ (NKJV)​
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.​
 
:) AMEN BECKY. THE TIME GIVEN TO US, HAS GONE TO OTHER THINGS. THE MORE THINGS ARE GOING ROBOTIC AND PRESS THE BUTTON, THE WANTINGS, AND THE NEEDS WE DO NEED FOR JUST TO SURVIVE WITH THIS ECOMNOMY, TO BUY THINGS, OR JUST KEEP UP WITH THE SO AND THOSE. ( THE GOSPEL DECLARES, GODLINESS WITH CONTENTMENT IS MUCH GAIN.} THERE ARE THOSE WHO NEED TO PROVIDE, TRAIN, AND EARN A LIVING AS THE GOSPEL SAYS, TO PROVIDE. IF A MAN DOSN'T PROVIDE FOR HIS FAMILY, HE IS WORSE THAN AN INFIDEL. YES IT IS IMPORTANT WE NEED TO PUT THE WORD FIRST, TO KNOW IT , TO LEARN IT, AND TO DO IT. THAT SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS,{ WHEN A MAN'S HEART IS EMPTY, 7 MORE DEMONS COME ALONG BACK INTO IT, AND THE CONDITION OF THAT PERSON IS WORSE AT THE END, THAN IT WAS BEFORE HE ACCEPTED AND KNEW THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. THE ONES WHO KNEW JESUS ONCE, AND ACCEPTED HIS AS LORD, THEN BEING NOT ROOTED IN THE WORD, OPENED A LOT OF DOORS TO TEMPTATIONS, AND THE ANSWER TO WHY DID THAT HAPPEN TO A BELIEVER WHO JUST WENT AND DESTROYED HIS OWN FAMILY, THE ANSWER TO WHY IS ANSWERED IN THE WORD OF GOD, THAT HIS STATE/ CONDITION WILL BE WORSE AT THE END, AFTER LEAVING THE LORD. THE DEMONS WILL MAKE SURE THAT THE DOORS THAT WERE OPENED WOULD KEEP THIS MAN, OR PERSON BOUND AND SHACKELED WITH CHAINS IN DARKNESS. ONLY THE POWER OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST COULD BREAK THE POWERS OF SIN, AND EVIL THAT HAVE COME IN AND OVERTOOK THE ONE WHO ONCE WAS A BELIEVER AT ONE TIME. WE MUST KNOW THE WORD, FOR { WE ARE NOT IGNORANT OF SATANS DEVICES}. NOT KNOWING WHAT THE WORD SAYS, IS BEING IGNORANT AND AT RISK. WE MUST LIVE IN THIS EARTH BUT WE HAVE A CHOICE TO MAKE WHAT OUR PRIORITIES WILL BE. THANK YOU FOR BEING LEAD OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO WRITE THIS, AS THIS WAS ON MY LIPS WAITING TO SPILL OUT, INTO THE KEYBOARD.

God first . Say it all in one breath. Make Him your personal friend, He is your friend. Jesus was talking to His disciples and He said, "I no longer call you....I call you, 'friend'."

Then when Jesus left, before He left, He said, I am needing to go first, but I will send you a 'Helper.'

Now, what was Eve called for Adam by God? A helper.

A helper, think about it, a helper. God is in you, His Holy Spirit, if you allow (by faith), through baptism of Holy Spirit (not water, though water is a good Christian commit, too), WILL become into you and be your Helper, too.

Wow! What a friend we have , right there with us :)

So, don't you want to put God first? :)

Very well put. I admit lately I have not been putting God first, I've put stuff like relationships and sports and school ahead of Him. I need to get back into a daily routine of getting into the Word and earnestly seeking after God.

This is such a great reminder, Becky216! If we don't be God first in our life, then we truly are still lost. Sometimes it's a battle to do so, but it's one that is soo worth it. Thank you for sharing!
