The question is about physical pain.

Over the years, deepening that surrendered life or faith in Jesus, have you experienced a kind of unnatural increase in physical pain. Putting yourself in a chronic pain category of living with physical pain.

Also, does anyone have scripture that may support higher physical pain for those in Christ?

Over recent years my physical pain has increased, and I now live with almost continual pain, mainly in my back and fingers.
However, I connect it with aging combined with yardwork rather than with being flogged for my faith.
I experience verbal flogging during discussions on CC, most recently for using too many acronyms (so I have cooled that habit).

I figured if anyone could come up with examples of a connection with pain and our faith journey it would be you.

Yardwork? Lol

Yardwork? Lol

Okay, I have that connection. I suffered purgatory as an English teacher of 8th grade inner city students.
As I thought about it I realized that half of the students were angelic and half were antagonistic.
The difference? The angelic students had Christian parents and the problem students did not.

Every morning as I drove to school I would sing along with this song on CCM radio stations:

We fall down, but we get up
We fall down, but we get up, yeah
We fall down, but we get up, oh, yes
For a saint is just a sinner who fell down
But we couldn't stay there and got up, sing now
We fall down (oh, my, my), but we get up (but we get back up)
We fall down (yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah), but we get up (get back up again)
We fall down (oh my, my, my), but we get up (but we get back up again, yes)
For a saint is just a sinner who fell down (yes, we are, oh, yes, we are)
(But we can't stay there) and got up
There's a seed of righteousness inside of you, oh
We fall down (say it now, yeah), but we get up (but we get back up again)
We fall down (we fall down sometimes), but we get up (but we get back up again)
We fall down (yes, we do now), but we get up (we rise back up again)
For a saint is just a sinner who fell down (saint is just a sinner, oh, oh)
And then got up
Everybody, sing now
We fall down (sometimes), but we get up (but we get back up again, yes)
We fall down (sometimes we fall), but we get up (but we get back up again)
We fall down (it's not too late), but we get up (it's not too late)
For a saint is just a sinner who fell down (saint, just, sinner who, oh)
And got up
Say it again, say, say
We fall down (if you fall), but we get up (you can get back up again)
We fall down (He's full of mercy), but we get up (you can get back up again)
We fall down (it's not too late), but we get up (no matter what you've done)
For a saint is just a sinner who fell down (just, yes, oh my God)
And got up
Yeah, listen
No matter where you are, no matter what you've done
You can get back up again (get back up again)
Get back up again (get back up again)
No matter how far you've fallen (get back up again)
You can get back up again (get back up again)
He is waiting on you (get back up again)
Just get back up again, oh
(For a saint is just a sinner who fell down) saint is just, yeah
Oh, my, my brother, my sister (and got up)
No matter what you've done, no matter what you've done
You can get back up again (get back up again)
Get back up again (get back up again)
He is waiting on you (get back up again)
With arms open wide (get back up again)
Run into His arms (get back up again)
Run into His arms, oh
(For a saint is just a sinner who fell down) saint is just, yes
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yes (and got up)
It's not too late, not too late to
Get back up again (get back up again)
Get back up again (get back up again)
Get back up again (get back up again)
Get back up again (get back up again)
You can get back up again (get back up again)
Get back up again
(For a saint is just a sinner who fell down) yes, yeah
He's full of mercy and full of grace (and got up)
No condemnation, no condemnation
Get back up again (get back up again)
Get back up again (get back up again)
He'll be flying with you (get back up again)
Can you all stand up again? (Get back up again)
It's not too late (get back up again)
It's not too late
(For a saint is just a sinner who fell down) saint is just, nothing more
There's a cynic who has been saved by Christ (and got up)
Yeah, yeah.

Fortunately the Lord rescued me from that purgatory in 2005.

Hi :) not sure what you mean by "higher physical pain" I know what lol it means yet.. there is nothing in scripture for that. Any kind of sickness is not of GOD is not suffering for Christ. Pffft this is not some "groups" teaching. Its Gods word. Sickness hits us all because of the fall. There is not one person Christ never healed.. not one. He has not Changed. Yes it does come down to faith.. just read the times Christ said to the 12.. where's your faith? Look at all they witnessed yet still doubted. Doubt will always stop God.

Peter and John man was healed.. they said we did nothing "faith in that name". Again Christ has not Changed.. His word has not changed. OT under the law He said "and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you.”. That's just one from the OT or by His strips you are healed.

OT look at when GOD set the free after what 400y. No matter what He was there by night and day.. He meet all there needs no matter what. ALL were sinners? Yet when the got to the MTN what did they say? Something they said changed everything. God.. pick a king for them.. they did not want ME!

I am no different then anyone else. I do not follow what some group says. What I say is what I personally believe. I have the right not to except any sickness. He has not Changed. If any are sick among you.. NT.. any? Hes talking about Christians.. you call on the elders of the Church they will pray the prayer of faith will save the sick. I like this . not my words "approaching God with full conviction based on His revealed promises rather than temporary human emotions".

This is faith.. its trusting GOD no matter what you see no matter what you hear no matter what all the people around you say no matter what the DOC says you simply trust in what you can not see not feel.. you trust have faith in GODs word and you do not doubt. You can have great faith and still doubt. As some of you know its so easy to have faith to pray for others yet a nightmar to pray for your self.

I am not here to debate.. I can only share why I know and have seen. Some things have taken years.. yet by His stirps.. I am healed.. NO I do not recieve this.. 3 years later. Just as of this year.. oh.. man huge pains in my chest.. would up to my teeth all my teeth would heart.. my chest.. and then.. I have never felt so tired.. would sleep over 12h. On Nov 24th... praise GOD GLORY TO JESUS! I have never felt soo good. It just was gone.. oh yes it tries I think twice so far.. where as before oh weekly. I am no one.. I just believe.. pain so great I remember the 1st time.. back up against the wall.. never been that bad.. but NO I do not have to recieve this. After went to the doc 2 of them said.. looked as if I had a massive heart attack.

Again I am no one.. I just believe His word. You keep reading you keep saying it till you get it into your heart. John 3:16-17? Yeah.. its in your heart huh. NO ONE can take that from you. Doubt will always stop GOD. Me.. no matter what .. I will stand on HIs word.. I can say that knowing to say that the enemy loves to test.. yet I have already still do stand on His word. In great pain.. I praise HIM! Thank Him for it.. yet HE never did it.. do you understand? I give in GLORY in all things.. every time it leaves.. ask Him if I am not being truthful.

But its not what I say.. its what He said.. find what He said not what someone says about what He said.. every time it comes.. no I do not have to recieve is . go in JESUS name by His strips I was healed! Now know this.. I can not be walking in sin.. having sin in my life.. willingly not forgiving.. so forth. I can not be perfect.. but.. I can not serve two masters.

Not here to get you to believe me... only He is true. All it takes.. is faith in GOD. But any kind of sickness is not of GOD..He never gave it so you can suffer for Him when everytime He healed them. its one thing to share christ.. then awful things happen.. Like in the NT.. they suffered as they do today for Christ. Some right now locked up.. in chains.. being beating.. we just sorry NEVER talk about it do we .. sorry. So do not believe me you find what He said about what you need.. and stand on it.. if HE promised it to you.. will He not do it? Ask Him.. ask Him about doubt.. ask Him about faith ask Him to show you ask Him to teach you.. He will always use His word

All I can say for sure is my physical pain throughout the last 35 years has mirrored the blessings God has bestowed upon me. And I don't see how He could have blessed me more. Seems like some kind of a balance thing. I'm not complaining about it, I would do it all over again.

Paul was given a thorn in the flesh because of the abundance of revelation given to him...2 Corinthians 12.

So do not believe me you find what He said about what you need.. and stand on it.. if HE promised it to you.. will He not do it? Ask Him.. ask Him about doubt.. ask Him about faith ask Him to show you ask Him to teach you.. He will always use His word

Prophecy / Covenants / Law { earthly! }, the "kingdom gospel":

(20) Jesus and the twelve "healed everyone"

"When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that
were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with
His word, and healed all that were sick"
+
"Then He called His twelve disciples together, and gave them
power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And
He sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick...
And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the

+
"There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto
Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with
unclean spirits: and they were healed every one." (Acts 5:16 AV)

Why?:

a) The nation of Israel is called, By God:

"And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an
holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak
unto the children of Israel." (Exodus 19:6)

b) The first "Requirement * to be a priest unto God":

"No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the
priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD
made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh
to offer the bread of his God." (Leviticus 21:21 AV)

c) Thus all were healed in order to "meet God's first Requirement *
of no blemish for the priesthood."

The Bible: The BIG Picture

Amen.

It's worth the reminder, that the most important element of rightly dividing Gods word is the one rightly dividing to have the spirit of Christ, and the mind of Christ.

Those two things can only happen with a correct faith response to the call of the Father. That correct faith response is "a personal surrender to Him and a life inspired by such surrender. " If genuine, this continually surrendered life is what causes God to seal His spirit and His mind into a faither, making one like that qualified to rightly divide Gods word.
