Hi C.C family, i just have a question i've always been curious about. Ok i know in the bible it speaks of commiting adultery when one is divorced and remarried right? Well this is my situation, I married my husband in 1999 i divorced him in 2001 then in 2007 we remarried each other. We are much happier this time around. If i remarried the same man is it still considered adultery?

No, you both reconciled, which is what God wants.

It's only adultery if you divorced (no one committed adultery in the marriage, cheated) then were with someone else.
Also if you (in general) went back to your husband after being -married or "with"-someone else, God considers this abomination.

Malachi 2:16
I hate divorce, says the LORD God of Israel.

Matthew 19:6
So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate

Matthew 5:32
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.

Deuteronomy 24:4
then her first husband, who divorced her, is not allowed to marry her again after she has been defiled. That would be detestable in the eyes of the Lord. Do not bring sin upon the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance

1 Corinthians 7:11
But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.

The day you remarried with each others again, I bet God's angels were rejoicing in heaven! ;) :D

Praise God for Restoring and Bringing back Marriages again!

It's in 1Cor 7 somewhere. It says that if a husband leaves his wife, they are not to remarry except when reconciled with each other. So yeah, you're fine =D

I don't think remarrying your original husband would be adultery. If you divorced him and married another then that would be adultery per God's definition.
