What is the Gospel of your salvation?

If a person asked,"What must I do to be saved?"

What would you say, and what must they believe about Jesus Christ to be saved?

This will be my last thread, I have been here a week and it has been interesting, thanks for putting up with my views and topics.

In order to become save by Christ, a person first must be born again, which means that a soul must become spiritual or spiritually inclined to understand the word of God. If a soul cannot, they wouldn't be able to see the spiritual realm at work, and a soul wouldn't be able to love God for the things that He has done for us. Being baptize by water, is a spiritual symbolic gesture that a person perform to symbolize that they are willing to be cleanse from the spiritual filthiness that they had collected over time. But water doesn't remove that filth from the spiritual soul, it only remove it from the physical body and which God see that we are willing from the soul to become clean, then He will send His Spirit to dwell in us, to teach us to do what is right, like a inner Guide, that guides us in the right direction. The laws didn't help us because we lacked the Spirit of truth.

John 3:3
Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Ephesians 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Proverbs 15:22
Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed.

Matthew 23:34
Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.

John 14:17
the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.
John 1:32
Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.

John 3:6
Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

John 7:39
By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Matthew 19:20
“All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”

Matthew 5:6
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

John 3:34
For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

Luke 1:53
He has filled the hungry with good things but has sent the rich away empty.

Luke 1:67
His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied:

Acts 13:52
And the disciples were filled with joy and with the Holy Spirit.

Thank you, I read each post.

When I am asked and even sometimes not just then, I say, well now that I know & have believed the gospel of the grace of God myself, I say;

The bible says, "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved" amongst many other such type wonderful verses. There is something we are to believe, the testimony of God the Father about the perfect work accomplished by His Son on our behalf. The payment of sin & sins, Christ said "it is finished" for good reason.

This is what we are to trust, Jesus died for our sins, all of them past, present and future, reconciling us to God. This is what we are to believe, God the Father raised Christ from the dead as assurance of His complete satifaction of judgement on sin according to His holy justice and declares our justification by grace through faith, the faith of Christ.

So, believe on Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved, indeed. When Jesus is our righteousness, this is our identity before God the Father. If the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. We can never re-offend God's justice, we are saved children, beloved. The love of God, is in Christ and ours as a possession by the holy Spirit of promise, that is why it is called a fruit of the Spirit, and we are now to manifest this fruit from the peace, comfort & joy of our salvation.

He was delivered for our offenses and raised for our justification. To the glory of God & the cross work of Christ, Amen. I love God & I love God's Christians and I love all people, that is why I choose to be a dispensational workman.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed(suffer loss), rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness(bad thoughts, false beliefs, counterfeit doctrines, antichrist message).

9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgement.

10 That ye may approve of things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

Smiling, beautiful, God is beautiful. I cannot wait for eternity, which I believe I taste now(saved, salvation), but of course have not fully attained as we wait in hope for our redemption, complete delivery from this present evil and glorified bodies(beind saved, salvation).

Christmas time, I am not posting anymore so I can have a bit more focus on my bible reading & family during the rest of this wonderful season of when our part of the world refects on the godhead, the presence of goodness in all creation. Merry Christmas. Preach the word, be instant in season an out of season (2 Tim 4:2). God bless you, all.

I would simply tell them what God said in the Bible. In Mark 16:16 it says "whoever believes and is baptized will be saved."
Acts 2:38 says "Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins". I Peter 3:21 says, "The like figure baptism does now also saved you, not the putting away the filth of the flesh but the answer of a good conscience toward God". In Romans 10:10 it says "With the heart man believes and with the mouth confession is made." So you have to believe, repent, confess and be baptized and then live faithfully throughout your life.

only one way to be saved, you can keep the commandments perfectly and still go to hell live a good life and still go to hell the gospel is that christ Jesus died for our sins and we have eternal life when we believe upon, anyone that tells you we gotta keep something to be saved RUN FAR AWAY FROM THEM, for God himself said [h=3]John 3:5[/h]King James Version (KJV)

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

only way to be saved by God calling you, and you receiving him by faith nowhere else don't listen to anyone that tell you we have to keep anything to be saved or to be justified
