The way that this world is run, is far from the way you designed.
You designed to have communion with your creation but instead we fell for futile knowledge, therefore we begun to rely on our own understanding...
and our sin separated us from you.
You God, the Holy Spirit, and your Son had mercy on us.
Jesus your son died on the cross for our sins, and tasted the death that we deserved
and as entitled as we can be.... you had mercy on us.
Over the past few years you have showed us what it means when you say that forgiving those persecute us and threaten us with harm can really cause delight in their lives ....and that it can cause there to be delight in ours as well. Precious is the death of your saints. 70x7: Forgive them all.
What does that say about your love? It means that your promises are much more intricate than we could ever imagine, that you are as warm and loving and compassionate than what is merely perceived, that you are the giver of life and that you wish us good. But that good doesn't mean conformity to the pattern of this world.
