prophet [I think the other word is prophesy or prophecies - "cise" is a suffix usually associated with cutting - incise, concise, excise... ;) ]

There you go. I didn't believe it was a real word. Apparently, it means the same as prophesy, but 'to prophesy' is old-fashioned for some now, and they say 'to prophesize'.

I am pretty sure that 'prophesize' includes the 'to'. ('prophesize' = 'to prophesy')

One use might be "He prophesized about..." - past tense, of course.
