Question #3: How can we say that answering questions with logical answers is Bible-based?

Biblical passages that seem to support the view that human logic is a divine gift include the following:

“Come now, let us reason together,” says the Lord. (IS 1:18a)
“They hated me without reason.” (JN 15:25)
“So [Paul] reasoned in the synagogue with the Jews and the God-fearing Greeks, as well as in the marketplace day by day with those who happened to be there.” (ACTS 17:17)
“We do, however, speak a message of wisdom [right reasoning] among the mature…” (1CR 2:6)
“When I was a child… I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.” (1CR 13:11)
“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” (1PT 3:15b)

These passages indicate that we should think and attempt to learn the best beliefs/opinions or solutions regarding issues, beginning with revealed Scripture and continuing with right logic when helpful.

Your answer?...
Jesus used logic and reason alone to refute erroneous beliefs, responses, doctrines, ... 70 out of 82 times. No scriptures or scriptural situations at all needed to confirm beliefs were incorrect. Basically, "If every single ramification of a belief, response, ... does not make complete sense, it is wrong.". I posted "Jesus' Methodology" in a separate post.

Good point; I had not realized that before. Thanks!
I think you meant Jesus Methodology is in another thread, so I will look for it.

RQ: How does "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure" (Matt. 5:25) apply to Iran?

Iran's regime has accused the U.S.A. of being the Great Satan and attacked it for 47 years.
Trump tried to come to terms with the regime, but it refused to cooperate.
Thus, the USA had to become the judge and attempt to confine Iran.

The fact that Iran has been so difficult to confine/defeat proves Trump's wisdom of preventing it from obtaining
the capability to launch ballistic missiles containing nuclear warheads at its enemies including US.

Previous politicians foolishly waited until it was almost too late, because the cost as been a ton.
The jury is still out regarding whether it will cost even more, but hopefully Trump will recoup it by selling Iranian assets.

So do you agree or disagree that the US is the great satan?

I agree with that. But do you agree with their projections that the US is the great satan.

Heavens no! Of course, the US is not perfect, but it has been the best/most Christlike nation,
and if the MAGA movement can keep control of the Congress, the US should continue correcting
the corruption of the deep state without as much opposition by RINOs and Marxist Dems.

Keeping it non-political, can you really look at the 7 deadly sins, envy, greed, gluttony, lust, pride, sloth, and wrath, and say with a straight face that the US is the most Christ like.
The blessings we all are given by God here in the US, and 99.99999% of it is spent on self, selfishness.

Being Christ like is putting other people's needs and burdens before our own. Not make sure my needs and wants are met first, then I'll throw someone else's need a bone.

Satan's greatest deception is fighting against himself. Our framework of understanding dictates one side is wrong and one side is right. Examples , liberals against maga, Muslim against Christianity, Thats not satans understanding. He pits one part of himself against another part of himself, knowing he can deceive many more of the called out ones that way. The only way to see that stumbling block is by a continually surrendered life to Him, or, one of those warning you about them, hint hint. Otherwise, we would buy into the lie that the US is Christ like, that trump is a Christian, that maga is rooted in Christ, that anyone who repents and believes in Him will be saved. And the best one, that instead of many are called and few are chosen, anyone "the many" are saved and a few that don't believe aren't saved.

Yes although I realize that the US has been going downhill, which is why I hope the MAGA movement will continue to be a force for good/God.

RQ: Did Adam (and Eve) have to sin?

Would "Yes" mean A&E could not be blamed justly for eating?

Would "No" mean A&E were morally perfect?

Were A&E created as morally perfect?

How could moral perfection be achieved?

Was the only way to achieve moral perfection in humans via the process we call salvation history culminating with Christ and sanctification via cooperation with the HS?

Was A&E's sin inevitable, which is why Genesis does not describe a period of moral goodness between their creation and sin?

If that is your hope, when president trump calls himself a Christian, which i have never heard him say by the way, will you permit yourself make the discernment whether he is living a life of continual surrender to Jesus Christ?
Does PT possess that inevitable accompaniment of a Christian, that giving nature like those at Pentecost that gave all they had and begged with much begging to do it all over again?

I think Trump is doing more good for Christ than any of us on CC are doing, he has come close to surrendering his life for God at least three times.

Sorry GWH, faith doesn't work that way. Surrender has to be to the anointed Messiah, not a political movement, church, or even CC.

You ought to be sorry for not knowing that surrendering life for someone may manifest surrendering to Christ.
May we all be as surrendering as Trump!

With all my cards on the table I lean towards Trump. His work ethic, leadership skills, his tenacity is just what you want in a worldly leader. But when he calks himself a Christian, my discerning says no way. And for that, I could never vote for him or anyone else on the ballot. That is my vote, not to pick the lesser of two evils. And because his selfishness with money cannot be unseen, his God is money and in the end will fall under the parable of the rich man, plain and simple.

I'm surprised your so easily deceived.

Well, nothing you said enlightened anyone.
What is your evidence that Trump is not a Christian?
And is leaning one way but discerning the other way no indicative of confusion?
We always have to vote for the lesser of two evils (= the worser of two goods), because no one is perfect (including us).
Are you surprised to learn this?
Why do you think you are a better Christian than Trump?

There you go again speaking for everyone here.
I'll leave you in your deceptive state of being.

Do Christians gold plate their surroundings while so many children are in need? I'm sure you'll overlook those kinds of things.

I'm out, you've validated my discernments.
