What has become of the human race? It is embarassing to see so many people freaking out at a rat. This video has made the UK news today.

BBC News - Big rat on New York City subway scares passengers

One rat , just one stinking filthy rat running around dozens of giants, one well placed stamp or whack will end the chaos, but no, people scream and stand on seats.

Everyone knows rats are frugal and they always take the subway.

Taxis are much safer.
 
I like the woman sitting next to the door that just raises her legs off the ground and sits there and smiles.
 
People are conditioned by their environment. If their environment constantly hit them with negatively images of rats they will over react. People need to try to rise above this conditioning and start to use their own intelligence.

In the old days, New Yorkers knew how to get rid of "rats" mugging, assaulting, and murdering in New York's subway system but as Goetz pointed out, one does need an adequate supply of ammo.

LOL! I once was eating some ribs off a barbecue in a campground and a big raccoon right up to me baring its teeth and threatening me with hissing. It was obviously very hungry and about to attack me. So I tossed the rib I was eating to the side and instead of attacking me it lunged at the rib and ran off with it... lol.

They can get kind of big and mean in the wild.

Yup, I can tell. It either just had a teeth cleaning or seldom uses them :)
 
What the video failed to show is that the rat was carrying a human head in it's mouth at the beginning.
