An interesting bit of topics are covered in the Joshua Harris "Say Hello to Courtship" book I read in 2007. A few times the book discusses how Josh and friends of his are interested in dating women they felt led to.. and for whichever reason either it didn't crystalize or they got turned down.
Then several months, a year or more later.. a chain of events unfold.. and they actually do end up marrying these women. An interesting chapter of reading or so with various stories.
Another reason it curbed my interest was due to my parents.. they had met.. nothing really unfolded.. they went a year without seeing one another.. and upon running into one another a year later.. immediately dated.. engaged.. married in a matter of months..
For myself.. a few recent thoughts have occurred for a woman out of my past.. just been pondering asking her out to a movie.. or something just to meet up.. catch up a bit..
We got together for coffee a few months back.. a week after I stopped back at my old church where following service she must have ran throughout the whole church in a matter of seconds.. to chase me down and playfully kick me in the back of my ankle.. judging from where she was in the sanctuary before I exited (pre-tending to ignore me).. and also from the fact that I was trying to bail out of the place at one hundred miles an hour.. not sure if she set the land speed record on that one..
either way she caught up to me.. this provoked me to of course ask her out for coffee..
My point for posting.. ignoring my personal story.. because it may just myself commonly thinking about her.. do you believe God puts to people together briefly.. and then seperates them for a while.. and leads them back together a some point in the near future..? Does God place people back into your life?
