Do any singles here want to read the Bible starting June 1, a chapter a day, starting from Mathew 1? My friend and I have agreed to start, and are trying to get more people to devote themselves to reading a chapter a day...we could post any insights we get online?

We are actually starting May 1....it is just silly that I wrote June 1
 
i want in too <3 i keep meaning to get my butt consistent in reading it and i stink! and i am starting in matthew too!
 
how will it work? Just post things we've noticed on here or on chat or what?

For myself I'm already reading through Jeremiah. I've never read any of the prophets before and thought it might be interesting. I just can't believe how stubborn some people are even when there is obviously a message from God telling them exactly how to avoid a problem.
 
I hope you all are still in. I am excited about starting this. I would encourage you all to try and get other people (friends, et cetera) to read it with us as well. I have gotten a few more people that are interested as well.

I think is a great idea, but how...through chat rooms? reading together? or reading and posting in forums? :confused:

I realize that it was supposed to be inspirational, but would anyone actually remember what all the highlighting was for 1 year later?

I am enjoying this. Should we discuss? Chapter 5 is always challenging because of th mention about right relationships and offering praise. Makes you really look at your heart.

I am reading the Message Translation. What translations are all of you reading?
