The verse specifically says men. Not Nephilim.

Yet more Nephilim populated the Earth following the flood.

Back to point one: Genesis 6:5

New International Version
The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth,
and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.

New Living Translation
The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he
saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.

English Standard Version
The LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that
every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Berean Standard Bible
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and
that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time.

King James Bible
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that
every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

New King James Version
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

On to Genesis 6:6
And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

It gets confusing when they were breeding with humans. I mean take a mixed dog breed and find the pure bred. They can even look the same.

Here is ancient Egyptian art. The 1st shows how they built the pyramids. Claim the don't know how when it's too heavy for anyone to lift. They would even have trouble today with machines. So it led to ancient aliens talk....

But look at the others. It's not always giants and little people. There's medium size and multiple sizes. Who is the nephilim and who is the person?

Genesis 6:4
The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.

You need to read before and after to understand verses. The "human race" was tainted with Nephilim. It's everywhere in the old testament.

The Bible says calls them "man." They probably resembled humans. They were bred down.... think Egyptian art.

Consider this.... why even mention the Nephilim right before if it held no value??
blueluna5,

the Jews believe the Nephilim were giants like Goliath but personally, I think Nephilim is a term God uses for demon-possessed people's children because i don't believe angels can give the holy spirit to give birth only God can.

Scientists already have discovered that the sin of the parent can change the DNA of their children.

‘there are conjectures, many how are the Nephilim still here after the flood?

only ones saved was Noah, wife, three Sons and their wives. 8 people, never Baptized by water.
saved by God
the descendants of Adam through Seth were the Kids, Noah was in that lineage. And reckoned righteous by God. And Noah never perfect.
now we have those three wives of the Sons, could those be daughters of the fallen Angels that had sex with the women?
could be, if were or are, then it continued in the DNA
‘Giants were all around, (DNA), over the years afterwords, Giants got less and less, the Nephilim DNA less and less.
just my thought on that subject of the Nephilim continuing.
For God locked up anymore of those fallen Angels from doing what did. So that DNA has become less and less in man.
yet all have sinned and all have not gotten redeemed from the ability to still choose to sin. One choice to believe God in risen Son and be freed from harming anyone again on purpose ever. Does not mean one will want to harm others. It means one can’t it is not the new them as born again. Yet the fight still goes on between God’s Spirit and flesh nature
feeling(s) are not redeemed, flesh follows feelings
the new born person of God follows truth God in risen Son Jesus. Thanks, and I am not caring to discuss this, just giving what I hear as truth about this love and mercy of God for us all as a gift
God just loves us all, that is my new life beginnings God just loves me and all others too

Many evangelicals believe in an “age of accountability,” meaning that until children reach an age where they can make moral decisions and understand sin, they are covered by Christ’s sacrifice.
Just a few days ago the mother of a two year baby spoke of her child soiling her pants, hiding them and changing into a clean pair!
When questioning the child, the child lied as to her involvement!
So my question is - at what age do you think accountability begins?
