Hi all - i am still trying to figure this whole thing out - not sure exactly where to post to get a response. my husband left me and our 2 year old 5 days ago... SOMEBODY ... please tell me that there is hope for reconciliation and restoration
 
There is -- but you have to just talk to God now -- have him search your heart -- you can't control your husband. Ask God to give you the strength and wisdom and show you what you need to know.

there are a lot of us who has or have had the same problem. First, you need to decide what you want. And then talk to God.

Also, from my personal experience, i made a mistake for just asking God for reconciliation, it did not happen right away. So, i realized that i must have sinned, and i repented my own behavior, that drove my husband away. After that things got better. Still, we are separated for right now.

It is important to have moral support in your situation. Feel the presence of God. Right now, I am concentrated on growing in the knowledge of the Word, and also I pray for the reconciliation.

Pray to the Lord for things according to HIS will
Believe He has heard you
Believe you have received it
Wait in expectant HOPE, and RECEIVE

HI! I feel for you dear. My daughter just left her husband and her daughter 2 month ago and it pains me.
Everyone in the family is sad and hurt because my daughter said she has no love for her husband anymore. They have a daughter is only 3 yrd old and is living with her husband. while my daughter is living with a friend whom we don't know. She visits her daughter every 2 weeks and enjoys life without reponsibilities. She parties ,drinks and living a sinful life.
I will pray for you..I have been praying for my daughter and surrender it all to God.
I let go and let God do his work..God bless you..and your baby!
 
I'm so sorry that you are going through this. My husband too, is wanting out of our marriage right now. He suffered from a head injury that left him differently, and he deals with a lot of issues because of it. I pray for my marriage all the time. I know that you are doing the same. I don't know if there is much else that we can do. We have a 7 year old girl and a 1 year old girl. I just pray that he can find a way to be happy in our marriage. I haven't done anything differently, I am a good wife, I respect him, I do what I can. Unfortunately, that doesn't have anything to do with it. He said he just doesn't want to be with me anymore, but he still loves me. I dont get it. He's said this before, and then been fine again, so who knows. I don't know if any of this has helped you, but you're not alone.

Absolutely. With God, all things are possible!

Focus on the Family had a powerful testimony of a woman who divorced her husband to be with another woman. They are now happily married (again) and fully reconciled. Although your circumstance isn't the same as theirs, it serves as a powerful testimony that shows God can restore your marriage. For them, it took a few years but the wait was worth it. I think you're feeling what the guy was feeling in the testimony - he was the one who wanted the marriage to be restored and reconciled. I just wish I can find that clip...
 
I just saw your post and want to tell you there is HOPE...yes there is. God cn restore your marriage. He can..he has for thousands just like you. Even after divorce. Go to his word and ask him to speak to you. KNOW ONLY GOD cn restore. You cant do a thing to change husbands mind...if you want further encouragement i would love to help you..as the Lord has given me a marraige restoration ministry in helping those who want their marriages..to BELIEVE GOD!!!

hi, at first i wanted to react on th post "free will". but then i saw these postings. this isnt about mariage, but about a broken relationship between my daughter and her boyfriend, when i saw him the first time i knew he was right for her.i saw his kindness, his insecureness, but he broke up twice. i prayed a lot and once a silence voice spoke to me, and said it would be oke again, and yes the boy is back again but my daughter doesnt want him back anymore.
i know it sound crazy that i still like that boy, but in my hart i always felt that he was a good boy.
but well, inded he has a free will, but now i dont know what to think about that little voice in my head. and when does one stop praying for a relationship, if you dont know what God wants for you, and if God wants that relationship

There is hope for restoration...not sure when you will receive this..but i would love to encourage you in that God is able and willing to restore your broken marriage
 
God's will will be done.Remember you will not control what your husband does,.you must find out why this happened and then I would reccomend that you fast and pray and seek guidance from God. I will be praying for you and your husband-I don't need names,as God knows you and your need. I am sure others will be doing the same,and we will be doing it of one accord,so GOd will give the answer--Just remember that we don;t always get the exact answer we want,as it is God's will not ours...Remember,too,there is always hope with God

Dear Friend. All I can say about husbands is what Paul admonishes in Eph.5:25-31 That men should love (Agape) their wives even as Christ loved The Church. This was unconditional and sacrificial love. My wife passed away 2 years ago and it was just before that this scripture impacted my life. I did not realise what I had till I lost it. If men loved their wife like that solicitors would be looking for work.

I know the pain and anxiety you are going through because I've been though it. My hubby's betrayal and lies for 15 years drove me to my knees a month ago.. I know.. this might be offensive to some. But when I finally let him go... give him up to God.. life with Jesus was altogether blissful..my prayertime was established..my 3 kids are growing in their faith and I have become a better minister to others.. Beyond my pain is the need of others... To God be the Glory.. as I yield to God's plans... in quietness and trust....I am made still before Him...

yes..yes yes..that is the secret..>God brought you to.. LETTING GO..and falling in love with God!! As dying is part of living, so is letting go part of loving. No husband should ever provoke his wife to sorrow. No husband should ever be mean to his wife. As far as you are concerned, the husband has wronged the marriage, and you must continue your walk with the Lord.

In due time, the Lord Himself will either return the husband back to you, or the Lord Himself will deliver you into His joy far away from a corrupt husband.
Don't let emotions take over during these difficult times. Be reasonable and in everything you do, seek the mind of Christ and "pray without ceasing."

Wow -- I've never heard it said like this. But this remains to be what God has been showing me -- just seek God.
