Hello brother,
Saul the first king of Israel.
He did a nice thing and sacrrificed to the Lord and yet ...
1 Sam.15:10
I sense that you have a strong interest.
Use that same strenght to comply.
It will propel you like a rocket.
If Jesus had told you to keep a secret and not tell anyone that he was the Christ?
Would you?
Would you now admit that we keep secrets?
The Spirit moves a person to believe.
Isralites never told secrets, starting with the name of GOD
that is why we think that GOD's name = GOD
I sense that I must not be soft with you
because it would not be beneficial to your temparement.
I mean you well.
I am a guardian of the Truth and that Truth God has delivered in His written word. I came to you in peace seeking the Truth and you speak in riddles. In this contention, I still do not know your intent. All I am getting from you is pervasiveness.
You say that the "ordained access" to the Father is calling upon the Lord while under the water. Yet, God has told us that access to Him is through Jesus Christ and that faith in Him. Since this is the way God has set it up, would this not be the ordained manner in which we come to the Father?
Saul, the one we know as Paul, was called upon while yet the Lord's persecutor. All the eleven righteous Apostles received the Holy Spirit while yet not under the water. Will you have us to believe their Baptism of the Holy Spirit is counterfeit because they were not water baptist, but received what Scripture says is the adoption of the child, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?
You come in peace. Yet, my soul is uneased. It saddens me that you speak softly. You would have so many souls who gave their live to Jesus to only later find out that they received not the Lord but a falsified baptism. And in the end, the lost of their souls because they did not know the secret formula to eternity. Has not the Lord Jesus Christ told us the path to eternity when He said that we are to love?
I will know this, "has God kept salvation a secret until your appearance?" And if you have been given the secret recipe for salvation, then why are you here preaching to the few and not proclaiming it on top of a mountain for the multitude?
Do not be fooled. My questioning is not my temperament. My questioning is because of the unwillingness to accept that which has been kept a secret for thousands of years to only be told now.
Is this not the true Baptism (the sealing of one of God's children):
Luk 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Joh 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
It would seem that after we hear the "Gospel of our Salvation" and believe it, then we are sealed with the Holy Spirit.
How you have made water baptism the access to God and not faith.
You might mean well, but my soul is at unease with this new method of salvation. It simply does not agree with Scripture.....
