Dear fellow men.

Women aren't on the other side of the gym saying...

Red rover, red rover let whiny come over.

Just somethin for ya to chew on.

there do seem to be a lot of whiny men lately. I appreciate this. Very much so. I probably wouldn't be as nice.

I know everyone needs to be encouraged from time to time, but when a woman finds herself constantly having to listen to a man berate himself or fish for compliments to make him feel better about himself, I'm not gonna lie, it's a huge turn off.

To be fair, I can't imagine that men find whiny women very attractive either. :)

lol! I saw the thread title and I was like "This is a 1still_waters thread. :p" and I was right :D

but you speak the truth! So thank you!! It needs to be addressed.

Hey if you haven't encountered it, consider yourself blessed.
No sense in jading a pure soul.

hahahahaha, I would not consider myself a pure soul. lol. I'm just wondering what are typical things men whine about? Maybe I have some psychological inclination that causes me to ignore the whining?

Women with bad self image, biggest turn off ever.

Both sexes are whiny and insecure, just sayin'.
I've had my fair share of guy friends and girl friends. They're both nitpick at themselves and fish for compliments to feel better; I do it, and my boyfriend does too. I think it's part of the superficial world we live in. Looking at buffed out dudes with twelve packs couldn't make the average man feel any better than women seeing a underweight model on the cover of a magazine.

I wouldn't say there's any one thing that men whine about, but I can tell you a story. This story was told to me by a guy named Larry, who was a real whiner.

**he took about 10 long minutes to tell the story, I won't subject you to that though.**

"Someone offered me a free refrigerator, and it took forever to drive to his house. I almost got my truck stuck on his muddy driveway to boot. When I finally got it home, it was dirty and smelly, and it took me 2 hours to clean it out! When I finally plugged it in, I found it didn't work. I've had an awful week."

I think the moral of the story is it doesn't matter what someone whines about. A negative attitude is not uplifting. Also, plug in used refrigerators before you clean them.

Once again, 1still_waters tells it like it is. (the correct english here is, as it is) and to those asking, "what does a man whine about"? If you ever meet such a man, you'll understand immediately. Until then, consider yourself blessed that you don't know.

I find it interesting that no one has really given examples of men whining...
