So, I just read Redeeming Love By Francine Rivers. God has done an amazing work in me through reading this book. I went back afterwards and read the story of Hosea in the bible and really am reevaluating the way I look at myself, relationships, and love. A little testimonial note-my whole life I've wanted nothing else bu for a man to fall deeply in love with me-I know that may sound lame or what have you--but I seriously did. I failed to realize the one already had, and he promised to love me eternally. That book just really opened my eyes to a lot about how Jesus loves us, SO SO much, and how he is willing to fight for us, how he bought us from slavery to our sins, how twice we are his, and how he just absolutely wants us. It is amazing to me how through our sin he sees the best in us. This story not only inspired me to seek what it means to love Jesus first and foremost, but also to wait on the man God has for me, and nothing less, and not to worry about it, because He has it worked out already, so I should concentrate on getting closer to Him. I pray everyday that God will reveal himself to me and fill me with his Love through the Holy Spirit, so that I know His love continuously, and so that I know what love isnt!

Has anyone else read Redeeming Love and been affected?
 
I haven't read the book. But likewise I want to get closer to him and his love. Hes been really amazing to me recently, and I pray he continues! :D
 
I haven't read it, but I have been dealing with that with Him for the past few months...His love for us is so indescribable, it has been having me give serious reconsideration into ever getting 'involved' again.
And I am rejoicing with you for your discovery...it is truly a jewel!
