Phil 4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.
There is not a single mandate in any of the NT epistles written to the churches or to the members of the body of Christ to keep or rejoice in the Sabbath. Not a single mention of it. If it was to be kept by the NT believer of the church under the new covenant we would not only see the churches comprised of the Jew and the Gentile practicing that commandment but also exhorting the brethren to do so. Their is no mention in the book of Hebrews nor in the epistle written by James or in any of the epistles of Peter to honor and keep the Sabbath for any Jew nor for any Gentile. There is no NT commentary for the church under the dispensation of grace to keep the Sabbath holy or to even remember the Sabbath, for we have the Lord of the Sabbath, the Creator of all things to give us the rest we need for our souls and our bodies in (Rom 8:11).

I wonder if these "happy Sabbath" threads were "have a nice weekend" would they have drawn as much negative reactions.

The Bible sure does teach keeping the Sabbath, I don't have my Bible handy right this second, but I believe there is atleat 55 to 60 mentions about the Sabbath in scripture and about 30 to 35 of those verses are in the new testament.

Heaven forbid anyone in the Body of Christ should bless and encourage one another to worship God, serve Him and serve His people. However, there are some people who will say "But you're doing it on Saturday! It doesn't count! It's not Biblical!" Interesting enough, I don't see a whole lot of blessings on this board for God's people on Sunday, or in fact any day of the week. Maybe blessing people (albeit on the Sabbath) isn't such a bad thing.
But seriously, have a great Sabbath anyway.

We are not asked to bless others on a given day set aside for that purpose. We are to bless the Lord at all times and his praise should be continually in our mouth. Every believer represents God's temple for God indwells the believer and has taken up residency in each believer. We as the body of Christ are built up together as a habitation of God through the Spirit. Keeping the Sabbath has nothing to do with that but as a body with members in particular and with Christ as the head, we build up one another through the word and Spirit and it is through that edification that we worship God in Spirit and truth and we are able to comprehend the many dimensions and facets of the love of God with the saints.
Every step we take we can be led by the Spirit being ordained of God. Jesus did not need a Sabbath day to rest for He was the Lord of the Sabbath and all those who would come to him He would given them rest for their souls. His meat was to do the will of the Father who sent him. The believer who would come to Him by faith would have quiet resting places and times of refreshing just by coming to Him at any time. That was a promise from God and not obedience to any law. When we are occupied with Christ and are being quickened by His life, He is all we need and there is no want for anything but Him, for we are hid with Christ in God and that is where we are made full and find our supply.
If any believer wants to truly be blessed by our Lord they will find that blessing in the midst of His body and in the unity of the faith of the brethren, for that is where God dwells and that is the place where God commands a blessing, life forever more and there is no Sabbath to rest in, only Christ and His life resting in the midst of His body.
Blessed Sabbath to those that choose to observe it. To Notuptome, no such thing as electricity when God sanctified the 7th day and made it Holy. Even 2,000 years ago they probably lit lanterns, i don't think God demands we sit in dark on Sabbath.

The Son of God is the Lord of legalism? Does the Word of God teach speaking against Sabbath? If you believe liberty in Christ why do you speak so negatively about others using their liberty in celebrating Sabbath? For the cause of Christ?

If one has the spirit of God at the very least he would not speak against the Sabbath.

The reason you speak against the above post is because you do not understand it or how to relate to it as a NT believer / priest. You have no understanding that the fulness of God is not experienced through keeping the Sabbath or the law but the fulness of Him that filleth all in all is in his body (Eph 1:23). Our greatest obedience is to believe upon the Son who was crucified and rose again the third day. When a sinner believes, he is instantly justified by faith and made acceptable to God the Father and is placed in Christ with all other believers who make up Christ's body, the fulness of Him. There is no life outside that body for that is the place God dwells within every believer. God does not dwell in the law nor in the Sabbath but dwells within the midst of the body and He rejoices over that body who He has redeemed.
He commands a blessing and life forevermore in the midst of that body who dwells together in unity with Christ as the head. Keeping the law of the Sabbath for the body of Christ is not dwelling together in unity and there is no special blessing from God in doing so as some of you believe there is. You may feel good about keeping the Sabbath and believe you are pleasing God but where is your faith, is it in obedience to the law or in Jesus Christ and the church body, the fulness of Him that filleth all things? There is no fulness in keeping the Sabbath for the NT believer. If you are Jew or a Gentile and believe upon Christ for the forgiveness and cleansing of your sin, you are placed together in Christ and have become a member of Christ's body, the church, old things have passed away and all things have become new (2 Cor 5:14-21). Do you believe that? If you do, then live as you believe. If you do not believe then you are in unbelief as to Christ and His body, the church. That includes JaumeJ and Rent Tent as well.

It's sad we as a whole are using God's Word against His Word. Not only we want to use NT to kill OT but we also want to start a civil war between NT.
You talked like authority by saying "you have no understanding". Yet you don't have an answer to my simple statement. Where in the bible did the Word speak against Sabbath? Where do you get the idea that remembering the Sabbath is against the faith?
