For both women and men, this is not a time that should be taken for granted. Remember, God doesn't do random! Consider this time to be the incubation phase; it's the time we need to get close to God, and to become totally intimate with Him. There is no time for distraction! Especially if you're getting close to adulthood. I'm not saying there's no room for mistakes or fumbling in your walk. We will never strop growing, never stop making mistakes, and our spirits will fall due to certain things in our lives. That's okay! Just as long as we keep pressing on! I'm just saying to take a hold of the time you've got with just you and Jesus. Because when you partner comes along it'll be a whole new thing. Yeah, our husband or wife will make it easier to keep going, they'll be there to pray with you, cry with you, walk with you, worship with you, ecs.. But if we aren't able to rely on Jesus right now when we're physically alone then how will we in our marriage? Do you realize how saying stuff like, "Oh, I think it'll be easier to know how much you love me when my husband/wife comes along.." or "I'm so tired of being alone!" is selfish and whiny? Shouldn't your prince, Jesus, my sisters, be enough? Shouldn't your big papa, God, my brothers, be enough? Shouldn't your relationship be enough? Don't you think He at least deserves this time with you? ..I'm not saying wanting to love and be loved is bad. It's not. God may be a jealous God but He loves and adores you too much to watch you walk in this world alone. He thinks of the each of you as pearls. But it'd be a mess if we met with our true loves and hadn't found ourselves yet.. Before we can love our neighbor, we must love ourselves. Not loving yourself like, "Oh my God, I'm super hot and I'm such a good person for giving my brother the last of my candy." No. Haha. I mean, finding our true hobbies, likes, dislikes, bands, ecs, and realizing how neat of a person we are. All we've gotta do to find and keep ourselves is be honest. In any aspect of life. No matter what... Anyways, so don't you think that the man or woman God had created specifically for you deserves a whole and integral friend in marriage? And a pure lover? Not a perfect one(no such thing).. Dude, just how God is preparing you right now, He is doing the same for your honey bunny somewhere! That's why you gotta keep believing in him or her! Keep praying for them! We must do good for them all the days of our lives. Save yourself for them. If you made the mistake of giving yourself away, God sees it as if you never did. Your new life is here. Each of you are His precious works of art and He doesn't want to see neither of you hurt by each other, or yourself! Let Him rebuild you and mold you into something more than you already are my dear. And not only will this preparation be for your future marriage but will be beneficial to your call too! It totally will! But that's another story ;)...

I'll wrap it up cause I don't wanna be a bore.. So I'll close with this..

Could it be that God extends our time of singleness so that we might find our life in Him and learn to be complete in Him?...

After asking myself, "What if God did bring you your love right now? What then?" and I was like, "Man.." haha. I just don't trust myself yet. I have such a history in that department and I know I'm still hurt from it, I definitely need healing. That'd be bad for him, right? I don't wanna do that to him. So.. I mean, some of us are pretty darn ready for what He has for us. But for their sake and our own, let's make it solid. Make sure you're gotten to know yourself and you've fought the good fight with Jesus. He loves you so much. So so so much. Don't think He's ignoring your cries of being alone. His timing is perfect. He's a good God, amen? And He knows us better than we know ourselves so when the time comes(and knowing Him it'll be out of nowhere haha) He will bring your special brother/sister along and you'll know it.

My prayers tonight are for my fellow brothers and sisters who are single at the moment. May we find ourselves in Him more every day. And may we continue taking advantage of this time. :)

James 1:4!

Wow, thank you all! I just wanted to share what I had learned a few weeks ago. Peace be to you, my friends :)

Rejoice in the Lord, all ways, and, again, I say, rejoice.

ReJOICE in the Lord, always, and, again, I say, reJOICE.

Rejoice, rejoice, and, again, I say, reJOICE.

GOOD words, miyounglady, when/if God has you ready for a guy in this life, I pray, you, joyously, until that time, draw your life in line with His chosen direction. Let your heart be led by Him. The Lord leads. Proverbs 16:9 . :)

And, like you say too, yogart, those that have given themselves away, God forgets it FOREVER the very second you GIVE it to him, and, like kimbergirly was saying in her post of zan's advice thread :getting married friend asked of him, the sinful act is ERADICATED ! Those things of your past will NEVER be out to the public by the ONE (guy or gal) God plans you to be with for the rest of your Earthly life :)

Aw, thank you so so much for your thoughts! Yes, like James 1:2!! hence the word various in that scripture.. And the more you give yourself away to Him out of love and desire, the easier it'll be to rejoice at ALL times.

Thank you again for your kind words. I do appreciate it :) may God's very peace be poured into your heart, mind, body, and soul as you continue your days. Only hoping the best for you!
