Ok, there's this girl who I suspect is interested in me.

I believe the reason they don't add more options is that this isn't a dating site.
 
That´s not a bad idea! But the site is intended to "chat" in anonimity, to have fellowship, but hiding the hearts and faces, soooo.

Checking the persons profile might tell you. I was thinking when we
first sign up to CC there is a block we can put in if we want NO MEN
or what ever message you might want people to know. Also, look at
the age of person on left side of page... Now that should be made
for everyone to do. NOT fair to let some get by with it and others not.
But the profile should show single, married, divorced, etc.
Just my 2 cents worth.
