How do you cultivate your love relationship with Jesus? how do make it sweeter?

*serious comment please for a serious answer. thank you ^_^*

It's pretty simple, but also rather difficult. Spiritual practices/disciplines really are ways we commune with God and make our lives/relationships with Him better or stronger or sweeter. What are those? Things like reading/studying your Bible, praying every day (and all throughout the day...in and under different feelings and circumstances), speaking with God, not just in thanking Him or asking Him for something, but just telling Him how you think and feel...venting with Him, arguing (if necessary) with Him... That's how you grow in a relationship with a person, and God is similar in that regard, intercession for others and things going on in the world, eating with Him, worship is another way, and being in fellowship/mission with other believers. Learn about Him, not just from people, but from God Himself. He'll speak to your, show you, guide you, teach you, help you, and more than I could express. That's all largely up to you, though. You have to choose Him, and make Him your priority.

Hello Simplysweet. listen to what God has to say, learn to accept what he says and how he says it. Learn to open your heart everyday. Have the wanting to know him closer. Give all your heart without limitations. Trust in him, and read his word. Remember he loves you no matter what, but if you want a true loving relationship with him? then you have to give him all.

Speak to him, trust his will, trust his righteous ways. God bless Simplysweet.......

Well... it's kind of a loop. Three parts, joy, peace and love, and as each gets stronger it reinforces the others. As I love God, I trust Him. As I trust Him, I don't worry so much about my problems, so I have greater peace. As I have greater peace, there is more room in the absence of worry for the joy the Bible talks about. As I have more joy, my love for God grows stronger. And so on.

Or as the old song says:
I keep falling in love with Him
Over and over and
Over and over again
It gets sweeter and sweeter as the days go by
Oh what a love between my Lord and I
