the check mark is my amen button. Thanks for responding. I think some women believe a man gets over a broken heart as easily as a fender bender. We know that isn't true.
yes but many churches discriminate.
I don't know, it sounds true.Isnt it said that a woman falls in love faster but even though it takes a man longer to fall in love ..he usually falls "harder" when he does..
That term is older than me dearie. Believe it or not!Well..it used to be that the CONSUMATION was the official "marriage binder" so..if she has SEX..(not necissarily marriage..in this day n age) shes broken the marriage covenant
I don't really think it takes longer for a man to fall in love, just longer to figure it out.Well..it used to be that the CONSUMATION was the official "marriage binder" so..if she has SEX..(not necissarily marriage..in this day n age) shes broken the marriage covenant
No I am not. I am Pentecostal.I know you re charismatic
maybe the word has diffrent meaning here. Charismatic churches are mostly full gospel teaching churches. Penticostals are one, assemblies of God are another that don't believe that the holy spirit left us when the original 12 died. The mainline churches call us holy rollers as a derogatory title. Full gospel refers to the teachings of penticoast. Which catholics, lutherans, methodists don't teach much here.No I am not. I am Pentecostal.
The Revival Fellowship to which I belong conducts itself decently and in order according to scripture,
especially in close accord with the instructions given by the apostle Paul.
We have couples who have remarried in our Fellowship.
Firstly, there are those who have suffered marriage breakdowns, divorced, etc. prior to their baptisms of
water and the Holy Spirit - that is before their conversion and membership of the body of Christ.
Usually such people are themselves single or have remarried in the world.
But their repentance unto Godliness covers their sins and they enter the grace of the gospel.
Sometimes only one spouse will believe and receive the Holy Spirit. That does lead to complications …
Secondly, even in a strict Bible believing church as ours, people do wrong.
And we get separations, breakdowns, and yes, adultery (and all the misery and hurt that comes with this).
People get put out of fellowship for a while and given the directive to get their act together and sort out their marriage.
If this is not possible or desired by the parties involved then people leave permanently.
In the end sometimes both remain separated and attend different congregation halls to avoid embarrassment.
Most often one leaves for good and one (ex)spouse remains in fellowship.
Now and then both leave and do their own thing in the world.
People who have gone through such do remarry in our church - usually if one (ex)spouse has done the adultery thing
and no longer walks in the way of the Lord. Then the person who has not committed adultery is free to remarry.
But the oversight do get it wrong from time to time. Whilst adultery is the scriptural basis for separation and divorce,
the women of our church also know that many a husband can ruin a marriage through their failure to love their wives.
Today's churches ( alot) do that. Its easier for them to judge you than look at their own sins. (Tim. ( itchy ears))yes but many churches discriminate.

I was done the same way. A church I started going to (after divorce) Need help with the youth group. (I can pass a background check to work in the ER and get on a military base.) I can pass a background check to work with the youth. Every Sun. Announcing the help needed. Every time I offered, "they had it covered" that was not the only church either. I was treated like the plague or like I was there to steal their husbands.
It is frustrating and sad. Few churches are truly home for the lost and broken, seeking compassion, guidance and fellowship. I finally got over it, and get my fellowship on here or my facebook and groups on Facebook. I miss the personal interaction ( church family ) part of it. Just not worth being treated like a leper.
I pray the Lord gives us outcasts a strong spiritual foundation and a blessed church family. Even if that means he sends and angel.
Plz what if a man start sleeping around with different women, is a woman free to leave a man and remarry?
Yes, it is acceptable to divorce your husband if he is committing adultery. One of the only reasons according to the Bible.Plz what if a man start sleeping around with different women, is a woman free to leave a man and remarry?
nope. the context of that verse is when one partner of the marriage union is an unbeliever. this is in reference to a married person being saved and their spouse remaining in unbelief. If she remarries..you are free to marry..the covenant between the 2 of you is broken
A divorced person must either be reconciled to their spouse or remain celibate unless the spouse dies, then they are free to remarry in the faith.
