Please pray that God will wither remove us from where we are or save our neighbor or both!

He swears worse than anyone I have ever met and calls us very bad names through the walls of the apartment building. It is rough on us because we are trying to raise our 9 month old to be a respectful young lady and we really don't want her learning that kind of language.
We don't really care for our living situation either. My husband and I are country kids cramped in an apartment in town, so it would be great if God could provide us with some direction as to where we should go from here.

Shrimp, read Psalm 140. I have had to deal with a number of bad neighbours and I have recently been praying about one right at the present and I know that God delivers.

It is hard to understand why things are like they are sometimes, but remember God puts us where we need to be for a reason I KNOW THIS SOUNDS OUT SIDE OF WHAT WE EXSPECT BUT REMEMBER WHAT Christ SAID ABOUT BEING HERE TO HELP, SAVE THE ONES THAT SEEMLY WHERE THE WORSE TO OUR EYES AND EARS BUT CAME OUT AT THE END TO BE THE ONES THAT HELPED WRITE THE BIBLE AND LIVED A LIFE OF SIN TO BEING SOME OF THE GREATEST MEN OF GOD,CAN THERE CAN BE A CHANGE? WHAT IS GOD TELLING YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU FEELING LIKE YOU WANT TO DO, IS IT EASIER TO IGNORE OR STAND ON THE POWER OF GOD INVESTED IN YOU BY CHRIST, I PRAY FOR YOUR BATTLE AND THAT YOU BECOME THE VICTORY FOR GOD AND THAT THIS PERSON BECOMES SAVED AND SAVES THOUSANDS WHICH WITH OUT YOU MAY NEVER HAPPEN GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN YOUR RESPONSE.

I may be unspiritual in saying this, but that is invasion of your privacy, I'd call the police, they may be able to talk some sense to her.
Will pray also for wisdom.
 
Move. Seriously. I went thru hell because I thought I could change the way my "neighbor" was on the other side of the wall. The more I talked to him about it it seems the more of a "punk" he thought I was. Seriously, move. Some people have zero regard. The guy I dealt with basically had parties while guys were trying to sleep and get up in the morning. People think it's the way to "act like they want with ruthless regard".
 
We are trying to move, my husband has a great opportunity to get his old job back which pays better than his current job. the trouble is finding housing. If that doesn't work out we may move south to where his brother lives. The problem with that is I know I would not like to live in the south, but anything to raise Lora right. (Lora is not her name, I changed it for privacy purposes. I'm sure you understand)

I know for a fact that talking to our neighbor won't help, he drove out the neighbors downstairs. He's an older man, so we would look like "punks" (as 78jon put it) if we ever approached him. We did leave an invitation to a chat-n-chow at our church, but nothing came of it.

He doesn't have parties. He just yells obscene words at odd hours of the day and night. I don't think he has turrets, either.

I don't know. I do know that Lora is 9 months old and hearing the awful words he spews very clearly. I don't know what else to do besides pray and hope something will happen.
