Correct. Our heart cannot have both God and the devil. We cannot have both the righteousness of God and lust of the world.I agree that we can't serve 2 masters
We can't be for God and against God at the same time.
Jas 1:13
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
We cannot say we have God, and also have lust of the world tempting us to sin against God. We either have the true God or the sinful devil, not both.
If we have Jesus Christ and still have our own sinful lust, then He is a liar and does not come to take our own sin. But instead leaves us with our own lust, even as do all false gods and christs of the world.
Correct. Jesus Christ still creates all men and women good, the same today and forever as in the beginning. He likewise makes all natural flesh the same mortal as in the beginning.Adam did not have indwelling sin; for God made Adam after His own character, pure and upright. There were no corrupt principles in the first Adam, no corrupt propensities or tendencies to evil. Adam was as faultless as the angels before God's throne.
Jesus Christ is come in the naturally mortal flesh of all men, who are created by Him.
Angels and men only sin by concieving our own lust against God: Lust of heart against God remains the origin of all that have sinned against Christ. First by angels in heaven, and now by men and women on earth.
I've given the Scriptures explaining it. If you'd like to challenge my explanation of the Scriptures given, I'd be glad to see it.These things are inexplainable for us
This is only partly true. I'll clarify: All any person born into the world has ever known, since Adam first transgressed and brought sin into the world, is a sinful world. Not the good world created by God without sin.because we only know life with sin.
And we all have contributed to the world's sinfulness, by sinning ourselves and transgressing as Adam. So that now the whole world lies in wickedness:
1Jo 5:19
And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
However, we in Christ Jesus also know, that all people do not still have have a sinful life ourselves. We know the the world is still sinful, and is not the kingdom of heaven, but all in the world are not still lusting for the world:
2Pe 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
2Pe 2:20
(We) have escaped the pollutions of the world through knowing the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
Jhn 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
All men have sinned, but since Jesus died for sins and resurrected for our justification, all that repent do His righteousness.
Eph 2:1
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
1Co 6:11
And such were some of you: but now ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Rom 10:16
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report…For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar;
Though the many still continue sinning against Christ, that does not mean that all people on earth are still sinning with the world.
Whether there be many or only a remnant few that repent, Jesus Christ still comes to take away the sin of world from the hearts of us that repent, and gives us power to do good and not evil.
Here is another explanation of Scripture, that makes sense from the above teaching of Scripture:
Psa 51:5
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
By Christ, We are all still shapen and concieved good in the world, as in the beginning. But since the transgression and unrepentance of Adam, we are all now shapen and concieved in a world of iniquity, and not into the garden of God with the tree of life.
Jhn 1:2
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made…That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Rev 4:11
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Jesusw Christ still creates all people good in His image, and still lightens every one coming into the world, though it now be sinful and not the garden of God.
The world we now come into is sinful, but we do not come into this world sinfully.
