Rescue me ooh Lord my heart in pain,
trials rock me to and fro;
My heart broken like shattered glass
My emotions unstable and my faith is Low:

Deep from inside is a desperate cry,
Is there yet hope for one such as i?
my joy is gone,I miss my faith
my peace I seemed to have misplaced:

I yearn for comfort but when it comes,
it dosen't seem to be enough;
wallowing in self-pity, sorrow and shame
I feel like i have had enough

enough of Lies,enough of hate,
enough of mankind's silly games;
enough of lust,enough of pride,
and all the sins that blinds the eye:

I am a worn weak battered soul,
and death is what These poor eyes see;
I long for someone High above,
To reach right down and rescue me.

Very deep agony felt here. It reminds me to understand how fast young people are downloaded the horrors and pain that the enemy has been busy tempting our world with
I also just felt that if God were not still restraining the maniac satin would have destroyed us long agp

even though i was already a christian for years when i wrote this poem, i guess i not only looked at me life struggles that morning, but what others who are lost are and have been facing...for me its a cry for both the saved who is going through deep struggles and for the lost who need a saviour.
