I don't know if this has been suggested... but I will say I skimmed the others and there was one SIMILAR to this suggestion -which was the book discussion...

But I was thinking it might be good to just have a resources forum in general. Perhaps that nobody can start an entirely new thread on - all threads having been started and that people can respond to... for example

Thread: Books on Healthy Christian Relationships
Response one: blah blah blah blah... here's a synopsis... etc.
Response two: blahdeeblahlah! etc.

Thread: Online resources for Christian parenting
Response: www.blahblahblah... etc.

Thread: Video series on apologetics
Response: blah blah blah

Does that make sense? Because thennnn if someone is looking for help/advice in the form of a book - or just looking for some books(Or videos to watch) to read related to a topic in their life they can just look in there.

I think that'd be really helpful. I know I have access to a lot of ideas for resources through my ministry, my church, and friends, but... since we're from all over the world we're all reading at different rates and finding gems that may not be found in other places yet :)

I also think if several threads could not be started it would help to not have repeats! :) Woot woot.

Aight, that's all. Peace out!

Good idea. I second this.

This actually reminds me of Error: No Such Username - StumbleUpon. This has many resources recommended by members. Mainly worldly but there IS a Christian section. You should give it a try.
