MATTHEW;11; 28-29; Come unto me,all ye that labour and are heavy laden,and I will give you rest. 29; Take my yoke upon you,and learn of me; for I am meek,and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls................This rest is not physical rest, but rest from your sins that everyone that walked in the flesh have done. The reason Jesus said this was because those that walk in the flesh are workers of iniquity. Working sin like it is a job, and he said that the the wages of such a work is death. Those that walk in the flesh is burdened down with sin in their lives, but they cannot know it until they let Jesus remove that load off of them. And when this is done, only do you enter into his rest, because you no longer have to work iniquity in your life.That is surely a spiritual rest indeed. Hebrews'' 4; 10; For he that is entered into his rest,he also hath ceased from his own works(worker of iniquity) as God did from his. The word of God spoken by Jesus and the disciples are speaking of resting from your works of iniquity, which is walking in the flesh. God gave us six days to work to make a living, and told us to rest on that seventh day just as he did. The world from ancient times have always known of this day of rest, and have excercised it. WHY? Because it was taught from the beginning by God and ordained by God.. If you do not believe in the physical day of rest,then why do you do it, it is because you do it unto yourselves and not God, even though it is his idea. What people are doing is trying to turn Jesus teaching against what God has Spoken. Heaven and earth may pass, but my words shall last forever. Find in your bible anywhere that God or Jesus have canceled any Holy day. The best thing to do is say' I don't do them or I do and go your way.
