“Plainly adorned ,
our carpenter Lord
an earthly life’s perfection
with righteousness strong ,
bearing all of mans wrong
on a quest for resurrection
Accused him they did ,
with motives not hid
towards god , a disaffection
he spoke not a word ,
In the prophets he’d heard
the word of resurrection
And so his life’s loss .
would come on a cross
the sinners crucifixion
with wood and then nail ,
they tried but they failed
to stop his resurrection
It seemed as his strength
had failed him at length
approaching deaths deception
there looking down
his blood soaked the ground
in his fight for resurrection
He gave up the ghost ,
to heavens pure host
the price of mans redemption
In three days he rose
so every man knows
now of , his resurrection
the source of our life
through struggles and strife
the sign of his affection
the tomb was left bare
With the gift that he shares
The life and resurrection
His spirit gave he
so that we can be
of him a good reflection
to speak in our heart
that we’re never apart
he is our resurrection

new life through this connection
said the spirit to me
