they begin to be drawn to where he’s leading them by this faith thays being formed into his teachings and promises they accept he is the lord and then their faith is tested and pushed into growth a little more
“And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”

And eventually the seed which began with John 3:16 comes to a point where they are able to hear and accept what makes us grow in faith and begin to walk by it
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. We have come from sinners who desire the wicked things , and been changed by faith and his comfort and longsuffering but all we have done is believed the true Gospel meant to change this
“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
Mark 7:21-23 KJV
the only thing that can change that issue is believing the gospel and letting Gods righteousness be revealed on the gospel of the kingdom to our minds and hearts we can rest because the transforming power is only to throw off the other voices and place our faith in him.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
Matthew 6:33 KJV
you don’t have to do anything but believe the right one and trust in him He will change us as we seek after his kingdom and righteousness let the gospel be written on your heart from faith to faith and there is no condemnation to ever be found only deliverance from captivity we don’t even realize we’re in
“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
2 Timothy 2:25-26 KJV
Jesus can change us if we believe but if we reject him and the gospel we’re rejecting the way Bld made for us who will only believe and learn from and follow after him
Repentance and obedience are gifts and the only standard we have os to walk by those thkngs we receive in the gospel as we receive what we can bear at the time then later when we’re ready he reveals more to us so we are never overwhelmed it’s a willingness to truly trust him and that includes knowing he will never lead us astray by his word but will keep what he said our salvation
