Why would the Christian Church show concern if the beast from Revelation 13 is the Lord Jesus Christ?
Your theory is messed up because we are supposed to get the victory over the mark, image, number and name of the man/beast. So we are not getting victory over the name of Jesus Christ, but rather over the name of Death. I wrote a complete Bible based study on it if you really, really, really want to know the Truth. Here it is---->>>>>>Understanding the mark, name, and number of the man/beast | Christian Forums

That is very insightful, and I agree. But Revelation 13:18 says it is the number of a man.
How does the Christian Church react if the beast from Revelation 13 has the name the Lord Jesus Christ? The word "Lord" is used 667 times in the New Testament, and the name "Jesus Christ" is used 667 times in the four gospels. Compare Nehemiah 7:18 to Ezra 2:13. What name do you call upon in the event that the beast has the name the Lord Jesus Christ?
The number has to with both man and beast, which as I showed in that study both man and beast were created on the "sixth day" which in Hebrew= 666
Notice both man and beast are mentioned with the number.....
Here [SUP]G5602[/SUP] is [SUP]G2076[/SUP] wisdom. [SUP]G4678[/SUP] Let him that hath [SUP]G2192[/SUP] understanding [SUP]G3563[/SUP] count [SUP]G5585[/SUP] the number [SUP]G706[/SUP] of the beast: [SUP]G2342[/SUP] for [SUP]G1063[/SUP] it is [SUP]G2076[/SUP] the number [SUP]G706[/SUP] of a man; [SUP]G444[/SUP] and [SUP]G2532[/SUP] his [SUP]G846[/SUP] number [SUP]G706[/SUP] is Six hundred threescore and six. [SUP]G5516[/SUP]
Man=mankind as that word man (G444) can be translated as mankind....ἄνθρωπος ánthrōpos, anth'-ro-pos; from G435 and ὤψ ṓps (the countenance; from G3700); man-faced, i.e. a human being
Outline of Bible usage....."a human being, whether male or female, generically, to include all human individuals"
Also men are shown as beasts (natural brute beasts) in scripture.
The beast does not have the name the Lord Jesus Christ.
Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
Dan 11:37 Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
Dan 11:38 But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things.
2Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
The beast will exalt himself above all that is called God,or is worshipped, and will not regard any god,and not honor the God of his fathers, and will say he is above all the gods,or things, that people worship.
Which translation are you checking? Is the number consistent across different translations?

I do not follow. Why should Christian Church react to some accidental numbers in KJV translation?
Go back to the same page you were just on, and there it says that it is translated "Lord" 667x.
It does say that it occurs 748 times, but just below that it says it is translated as "Lord" 667x.
this is not the only word translated "lord" with reference to Jesus Christ.
some of the uses of this word are not with reference to Jesus Christ.
this is not even good math.

"did God really say?" things like this are not beneficial, they create doubt in those already fighting in Faith. to begin to question what God has said is what leads to deception. doubt is what we are fighting against. it is what began all of this. " did God really say that?"............so someone reads this and then begins to question " is that really the name?" when their efforts need be to cling to Gods only Son Jesus the Lord. satan will never utter that phrase because anyone who believes that in truth, will then follow Jesus because they believe He is Lord. satan or His anti Christ, is never going to be known as the Lord Jesus Christ, His goal is to remove that name from the minds of men, or remove the authority of it from the hearts of men. because it saves them He will never be associated with Jesus as Lord.
I think this will be a great discussion after everyone understands that the numbers aren't made up. What happens when the beast calls himself the Lord Jesus Christ?
wow just wow, please read the bible
