They could all easily be wiped out in less than a week. Too bad that it has come to this. But the regime is utterly intransigent and revel in their own destruction and the destruction of their own friends and neighbors.

No, it did not have to come to this.

So you were taught how to read. Good for you.
Can't understand the Bible if you never read it fully too, which I have done many times. But you're a woman so you get a loophole in that you can defer to your husband and discuss such things with him I guess and we'll stop digressing.

Had horses for a while. Vet bills and farriers and feeding and poop shoveling is...... epically exhausting. And you had better be fit whole and healthy.

It's a full time job. And expensive.
There is no money to be made in horses that's for sure.
Yep, that is why I said I also wanted someone who would take good care of them.

No....Iran presently produces something like 1.5% of global production.

But produces 10% of Chinese consumption.

"Historical Peak: In the 1970s, Iran produced over 6 million bpd. If they were at that capacity today, their total production (not just exports) would represent about 6% of global consumption."
This is what I got from a google search:

Iran produces approximately 4% to 4.5% of the world's total oil, with daily production ranging from roughly 3.3 million to over 4 million barrels (including condensates) as of 2023–2024. It ranks as a top 10 global producer and the third-largest producer within OPEC.
U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) (.gov) +4

Key Iran Oil Production Facts (2024–2025):
  • Global Share: ~4%–4.5%.
  • Production Volume: ~3.3–4.6 million barrels per day (total liquids/crude).
  • OPEC Rank: 3rd largest.
  • Reserves:
Iran holds the world's 3rd largest proven oil reserves
    .
    • Exports: Despite sanctions, Iran remains a major exporter, with production heavily concentrated in the southwest.

While Iran produces less than 5% of global oil, its strategic location near the Strait of Hormuz—through which about 20% of the world's oil passes—gives it significant influence over global energy markets.

If the plates have been producing oil all this time, for millions of years, then that means the earth has an Oil layer.
Yea maybe their timescale is just inflated but there was an ancient cataclysm that rapidly buried a lot of vegetation quickly and a lot of water and caused the sedimentation process to even occur. You know, like a great Flood that's in the Bible and literally every ancientmost culture. Praise Jesus, but indeed the darwin crazies and creationism is a whole other topic like noted pages back. Regardless of the vast topic of the age of the earth, God is performing great miracles still right here right now in crushing one of Satan's big principalities and laying a golden path to revitalizing Iran into an actually promising and positive nation for the near term future (our first mortal lifetime era roughly before the Apocalypse and the great resurrection and eternal day), praise Jesus

It would be possible to have a robot horse now, with the new technology. Such as the tech that allows the horse to stay balanced.
Also just reading the back pages getting home, wanted to note, yes, I approve. Bring on the robot horses!

Sanctions throttled Iranian production dow to less than 1.5% last couple of years. Lately.....maybe 1% or so.

Supposedly there are China bound ghost tankers afloat right now with 150 million (or more) barrels. But they aren't getting there.

As of March 2026, the volume of Iranian "ghost" oil at sea has reached record levels, creating a massive floating stockpile that is currently heavily disrupted by both intensifying sanctions and the outbreak of Operation Epic Fury.

The "Oil on Water" Inventory
Recent reports from maritime intelligence firms like Kpler and Vortexa indicate that Iran has between 166 and 170 million barrels of crude and condensate currently afloat.
Total Volume: Approximately 170 million barrels, representing roughly 50 days of Iran’s total production.

The "Shadow Fleet": This oil is carried by a "ghost armada" of several hundred aging tankers that operate without standard insurance, frequently disable their AIS (Automatic Identification System) transponders, and use ship-to-ship (STS) transfers to obscure the oil's origin.

Primary Destination:
China remains the destination for 80-90% of these exports, primarily feeding the "teapot" refineries in Shandong province.

Are They Presently Stranded?
Yes, the fleet is facing a dual-pronged crisis that has effectively "stranded" a significant portion of the inventory:

1. Impact of Operation Epic Fury (March 2026)
The military conflict that began in late February 2026 has paralyzed the Strait of Hormuz.

Traffic Collapse: Transit through the Strait has dropped by over 80%. As of early March, only about 5 to 7 vessels are crossing daily, compared to the usual 70–80.

Physical Blockade: While not a formal blockade, the lack of war risk insurance and the threat of missile/drone strikes have created a "self-enforced" blockade. Roughly 150 to 300 tankers (including ghost ships) are currently holding position or drifting in the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf, unable or unwilling to move.

Targeting of Shadow Vessels: Several tankers linked to the shadow fleet, such as the Skylight, have been struck by projectiles or naval drones since March 1, further deterring movement.
2. Tactical Idling in Southeast Asia

A second cluster of the fleet is "stranded" in a different sense:
Malaysia/Singapore Hubs: Nearly half of the floating inventory is loitering near Johor, Malaysia, and the Eastern Outer Port Limits (EOPL) of Singapore.

Sanctions Pressure: Recent U.S. Treasury (OFAC) actions in February and March 2026 targeted over 30 vessels and entities. This has forced many tankers to remain idle offshore as they struggle to find refineries willing to risk "secondary sanctions" or as they wait for more complex "laundering" maneuvers to relabel the oil as Malaysian or Indonesian.

You don't get oil from burying vegetation, you might get coal, but not oil. Nor do you get oil from creatures being buried in a cataclysmic event. You get decay and methane gas escaping into the atmosphere. If you go to the bottom of the ocean you have methane hydrates which are kept in a very stable environment. If they were ever to heat up enough down there to bubble to the surface you would have the biggest cataclysmic event in earth's history and some theorize this is what happened during the Permian extinction. Since the Permian extinction only happened once we have to wonder what has happened to the methane hydrates since that time? So yes, since the Permian extinction ended we can theorize that methane hydrates and oil has been building up beneath the earth.

Not fighting is not the same thing as running and hiding. What Mohammed Ali did was not cowardice, that was courage.
What Rahab did by lying to save the spies took courage, the same as what it took Joshua to conquer Jericho. Obedience looks different to different people. If warfare demands murder (i.e. killing outside the commands of God) as you seem to accept, how much moreso tactics such as deception (lying, running or hiding)?
Actually you never agree to murder. There are international laws that govern war and murder of civilians is a war crime. It would be cowardice to go along with the war crimes and it would take courage to stand against them.
As I understand, Trump attacked a country under a flag of truce (negotiation). Irrespective of everything else, this is a war crime, and it follows that everything that results from the illegally instigated war is illegal (irrespective of all the other arguments against it). So even if you want to argue the case for a just war and that all the Iranian school girls and other civilians bombed were fair game, the war is still illegal, making every death resulting from the war a murder (even under the corrupt rules of man). Therefore, the heroic choice is to stand against such actions, for starters by not signing up or being coerced or forced into the same.
Basically the easy route is the cowardly route and the hard, scary, "do I really have to do this" route is the one that takes courage and courage is simply an expression of faith, hope and love. I used the example of Hacksaw ridge, everyone in the end realized he was the most courageous of them all.
Hacksaw Ridge was a movie, and is not how real life works (at least not 99% of the time). Many of those who likely would or could have acted like that were executed as deserters or mutineers or similar (you earlier provided numbers of heroes who were murdered in previous wars, presumably, who signed up, then for conscience' sake or other legitimate reasons were not able to carry out the grotesque orders that were demanded of them). When you sign up, you sign up to obey any illegal order they give, at risk of penalty of death (not in theory, but in practice). God gives us freedom for a reason - don't waste it, and don't sign up.

It was based on real life events....

Sure some "artistic license" was used for making it more appealing to audiences....

But...

Yes, for the most part the story of that movie was true.
And yes, people are often that callous, cruel, or insensitive. All the way up and down the food chain.
